I had a different shaker alarm previously but when it stopped working I looked for something new. Needed to wake at 3 am to take specifically timed medication and didn’t want to wake my spouse. My previous shaker alarm had to be hooked up with wires from the clock portion to the shaker part. This new one is all self contained and needs to be on the bed to shake. Here’s why I like this one so much better. It comes with a little strap. I safety pinned the strap to the mattress, under the corner of my bottom sheet nearest my head. By this being so close to me, I set it on the lightest shaking. When the lid is closed, there is still an external switch to turn off the alarm which I had no trouble finding and pushing through the sheet. It is rechargeable and book says one charge will last 60 days. An indicator beep will sound when battery is getting low so I don’t have to dig it out of the bedding to check for battery level. Here are some other things I like about this: It is small so very portable for vacations, etc. It can be set to shake only with no audible alarm or you can have both. You can choose not to have lights on in the display if you don’t want constant lights showing the time. It’s pretty cute and fits the bill for my needs.

This alarm clock is fantastic! I was having trouble with my iPhone alarm not going off, so I decided to give this a try. It wakes me up for nighttime feeding without disturbing my baby with any loud noises. The screen is bright and it’s very easy to change the alarm times and intensity. I prefer 80%, but you can adjust the vibrations lower or higher for your needs. I’m so happy with the product and I highly recommend it for heavy sleepers!

PROS:1. This alarm clock is well designed in that the buttons are all covered once you close the lid, meaning you're not going to accidentally turn it off by bumping it in the night.2. It also comes with a little strap that you can attach to the bed post to prevent it from falling in the night.3. It's effective at waking me up gently by shaking and also comes with a sound option (if you so desire)4. You can check the time easily via a backlit screen that gets covered when you close the alarm.5. It's small and easy to travel with.CONS:1. Though there are several levels of vibration that you can adjust, the lowest setting still wakes up my spouse.

I use this alarm so I can get up before my husband. The alarm has a vibrate setting and an alarm setting or you can use them at the same time. I only use the vibrate setting. You can also adjust the power of the vibrate which is great. I use it on the lowest setting and it easily wakes me up. It's pretty easy to use especially after the initial set up. I've accidentally dropped this or pushed it off the bed before and it hasn't broken so I would say it's durable. It holds a charge really well too. Highly recommend as an alternative alarm!

This little thing has been amazing. I am a strong sleeper so having this really has made it possible to not stress at night whether I'm going to miss my alarm. It is kind of easy to hit those snooze button so that is my one concern. Other than that I've had absolutely no issues and it works great. Multiple buzz levels and the close case ensures you don't hit buttons randomly.

I like the portability, compact size and rechargeable battery of this product. It seems great for using under a pillow or travel and it doesn't need to be plugged in. In particular I was interested in it's ability to be used as a silent alarm with vibration only. My phone is just not effective as an alarm anymore and I tend to be a deep sleeper. I hoped that I could use a discrete alarm to not wake other family members up. However this wasn't reliable at waking me up every time, either, so I unfortunately returned it. If someone is fairly well rested I can see this working, but if someone is at all exhausted, they may still just ignore this alarm as I was.

I have this habit of snuggeling under the covers and can't hear my alarm when I have to get up really early, 4:30AM, for work. I don't sleep all night knowing I will miss my alarm. I have a friend who is hearing impaired and she mentioned she uses a vibrating alarm. So, I ended up choosing this one and I just love it. It is not as complicated to set as it looks at first. In fact it is super easy to set. The vibrating action is just amazing! There are different degrees of shaking that you set according to your needs. A regular alarm feels like I'm being picked on when it goes off. This one feels like a big dog jumping up and down on the bed to wake me for a day of fun and games! I push the snooze once instead of 4 or 5 times like I do with my regular alarm. It wakes me up free and happy and awake, aware, and alive! It's also really well made and seems like it will last for years. AND it's rechargable! Get one! It's just great!
