Does the job perfectly!
This little gadget allows me to continue to be able to record programmes from my new Freesat box (which doesn’t have the AV connections my old box had) to my DVD recorder. I am delighted with the quality of the picture which seems better than before! Easy to install and does the job perfectly!

Will give it full marks as works as it should
Recently bought the 'RCA to HDMI' by the same brand it worked flawless allowing me to connect my old DVD HDD Recorder to my current TV and purchased the 'HDMI to RCA' now so i can feed newer inputs into my recorder via HDMI. I've tested a few (firestick, rasp pi) and worked perfect. Somewhat completes my connection setup for my recorder nowWill give it full marks as works as it should.....but i've yet to leave it on for hours on end so may update review at later stage (Another reviewer mentions it getting hot, but will see)

Perfect For Amazon Fire TV Streaming Stick
I had a small TV that had no HDMI port. It was in a room with no TV Arial socket so I bought an Amazon Fire TV stick to stream live TV to the set. This little box cleverly converts the HDMI streaming signal into a signal that the TV can accept through the three coloured leads (not included but only £2.72 from Amazon). It was incredibly easy to set up and the picture is great. Far less cost than buying an indoor TV aerial that might have had really poor reception, and it takes up much less space. I give this product 5 stars ***** Highly Recommended. It arrived next day with Amazon Prime too.

Great for sending catchup TV pictures from laptop to CRT TV
I bought this so that I could watch catchup / streaming TV on a proper TV rather than on my laptop. It works great for that. Don't buy it expecting to use your CRT TV as a monitor as the resolution isn't good enough (you really need to find the stream on your laptop screen, then drag it across). I've not experienced it getting hot, I only have it switched on for a couple of hours at a time when I'm using it. Picture quality of TV programmes is good, as is sound.
