Sealey Gsa674 Air Die Grinder 90

I had used this brand and this same type of die grinder when I used to work on turbocharger manufacturing. I know they are reliable and can take a lot of use daily so as far as I'm concerned it was a well informed choice buying this one. The job I used this for though was rust removal with a wire cup wheel and this air tool made light work of it. Getting to clean bare metal in seconds which by hand would have taken hours. If you're in need for a decent die grinder definitely give this a try they are really good. Just remember that air tools do need some maintenance so ensure you have a water trap on your compressed air line and oil after use to keep everything free inside and it will give years of reliable service.

Bought for doing body work at work and found it vibrates a bit with a non genuine 3m roloc adapter attached.Very comfortable to use without gloves and plenty of grip with the soft grip coating.(may be the roloc adapter causing the vibration)

I've been running this off an ABAC 3hp 50ltr compressor which has kept up with demand OK.Discovery 1 front wheelarch re-build. Prep for welding, reducing weld beads & prep for painting with those little twist on/off Emery & Scotchbrite disks has been brilliant. Just make sure it gets oiled before use.

When I item arrive I was excited to use it. The product seemed well built and was performing really well until I nearly lost my hand, I was cleaning up some welds when the the tool exploding nearly causing serious injury to my hand.

Grinder great but changer has stopped working not been used much
