Cool Headset!
This headset is very good! I haven't used earpiece headsets or earbuds in a long time, but this was worth it. It comes with the headset, charging case, manual, charging cable, and different size rubber ear pieces. I definitely appreciate the different size ear pieces, but I didn't even need to use them because the rubber part of the headset that goes behind the ear keeps the headset in place enough for me to use. Below I will go over the different aspects of this headset.Structure Quality: 7.5 / 10. While the overall quality of the structure is good, parts of it feel fragile. Specifically, the microphone that sticks out over the side, as well as the charging case. In addition, the headset itself and the case feel like cheap plastic, but maybe it's just me. But because I am not a big fan of that, I mentioned it here. On the other hand, though, I am able to twist the headset components as intended and hold and operate the case as intended as well. The structure is also very light, including the charging case. I could easily slip it into my pocket if I needed to as well. At one point, I accidentally dropped the case on a carpet floor with the headset charging inside, but everything remained intact, so that is a plus. Overall, in this aspect, I mentioned some negative things that bugged me, but overall the structure is good. Everything works as intended and may survive some wear and tear, to an extent anyway.Battery: 7 / 10. I haven't yet been able to accurately test the battery life of the headset and charging case quite yet, but as soon as I do I will update this review. For now, I will go off of what I have. First, according to my phone, I got the headset at 100%, and never really ran it down. I got the charging case at around 88%. One thing I noticed is that after testing the headset for a little bit, and placing it in the charging case, the battery of the case started to decline a little quicker than I expected. Soon it dropped a couple of percentage points, so I plugged it in and within minutes it was at 100%. While fast charging is a good thing, I can't help but feel like that is a sign of a small battery. But DO NOT forget, I haven't been able to test the long-term battery life on this yet; this is only evidence from one specific instance. Again, I will update once I get a chance.Sound Quality: 9.5 / 10. The sound quality on this headset is great! But let me be clear first, this is for CALLS, not music. I did actually play music on this headset just to test it (I have some JBL headphones of considerable quality, so I set a high standard for it). The quality of music is fine, but nothing special. A little sub-par in my opinion (lack of bass). BUT for calls it works absolutely amazing! I called someone and I didn’t inform them that I had the headset on and I talked a bit before telling them, and they couldn't even tell I was wearing a headset! That says a lot. For some perspective, I have a Google Pixel 7 (I know there is already a Pixel 9*, probably with clearer audio quality, but stick with me), which has some pretty clear audio. On the flip side, I could hear the other person just fine on my end as well, so this headset does a great job in this aspect! Conclusion. I'm sure this headset will fulfill any needs you may require a headset for. It has superb audio quality for calls, includes a battery case for on-the-go charging, and is sure to fit nicely in your ear. I would say more about the battery, but like I said, I will wait until I can further test this aspect. The overall build is sufficient for those who just need a headset for regular use, but I wouldn't beat it up too hard. Would I recommend this? Absolutely! I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a simple headset that functions well with calls.*At the time of writing, September 2024.

Great headphones
I’ve been using these headphones for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really impressed with their performance and quality. Battery life is excellent. I can go days without charging, even with regular use. If you’re on the go or traveling, you’ll definitely appreciate how long these last. These headphones strike a great balance between sound quality, comfort, and features. Whether you’re a casual listener or a bit of an audiophile, they’re a solid investment. Highly recommended.

Works well and is easy to use.
Wow! Great value for price. Came charged and ready to use (bonus) and has everything you need (charging case, cord, extra ear tips to choose most comfortable size). I was glad it connected easily to my iPhone and you can hear clearly both on caller and receiver ends. It was easy to switch between my call and my audio book and to adjust the sound on this device.

Very good basic headset, but lacks Poly features I really like
I'm a pretty loyal user of the Poly (Plantronics) Voyager headsets, both the Legend and the V5200. However, I'm looking for options because:* The Voyagers have poor Bluetooth connectivity in certain positions when my phone is close to the headset; e.g. when holding it and looking at the screen. I don't know if this is a phone or headset problem, but other headsets work fine.* I've had 2 V5200s physically break at the top of the rubber arch that goes over the ear before the battery gave out.The G7 is a very good basic headset.* Comfortable for all day wear, even though the gel inserts into the ear (but YMMV)* It blocks some envirhours on endonmental noise due to the in-ear design.* Sound quality is good in both directions. It can get as loud as you want, and mic noise cancellation seems OK.* It has a long battery life on a single charge -- not sure exactly how long, but longer than the Plantronics. But:* I hate that you have to charge it in the case and can't just plug a USB cord in.* Going from silence to sound, such as a notification sound or GPS direction, it drops out a split second of the initial sound. For example, if the GPS says "in 1.5 miles, turn left", you might hear "In 5 miles, turn left", or "1.5 miles, turn left"* When unpausing media, there is a stutter in the sound when it starts.I could put up with all of these, but I really miss a couple of Plantronics features:* When a call comes in, I can respond to the Plantronics by speaking either "Answer" or "Ignore" -- totally hands free. This is especially helpful when my hands are greasy or dirty, such as when cutting up a chicken or working on my car. With the G7, I have to push a button.* When a call comes in, the Plantronics will announce the caller by name -- either from my contacts or from caller ID. The G7 just announces the digits of the calling phone number. These last features of the Poly are important enough to me that I will continue to use the Plantronics as my every day headset. I will use the G7 as a backup or for times when I need very long battery life, such as driving cross country for 12 hours a day.To the G7 manufacturer: If you want to beat Poly:* Add the ability to charge directly via USB cable* Announce the incoming caller name, not just the phone number* Add the ability to answer / reject a call with a spoken word* Fix the sound drop-out for GPS directions, etc. Thanks!
