Safehaus Purse Handbag Security Bell Attachment Silver (Pack of 4)

I was recently the victim of a bag theft whilst in a bar having my lunch. My shoulder bag was resting over the back of another chair opposite me but I never spotted the thief quietly lift it and head for the toilet where it was searched for money. A member of the bar staff saw the bag being lifted and called the police. My bag was returned to me with nothing missing. It is believed the thief was seeking cash but since I don't happen to keep my money in bags, only upon my person, the thief left empty-handed. He was later caught and prosecuted. Security cameras monitored the theft and video footage was used as evidence in the subsequent prosecution. I only learned of the theft when I came to leave the bar. I quickly realised I had made a big mistake, I was far too trusting. It then dawned upon me that I needed some form of alarm if my possessions were suddenly moved without me noticing. I purchased these bells as an interim measure and they work surprisingly well, even in a crowded, noisy bar. The 'tinkle' of bells is very distinctive and my ears are tuned to their sound. I have since replaced these bells with a more sophisticated device which will sound off if my bag is moved and it will also enable me to track its movement. These 'security bells' are worth every penny and will no doubt give a thief a very nasty surprise. Highly recommended.

Well priced set of 4 bells. I had no problems clipping to my phone case and purse as I was sick of just rooting around in my bag not finding either and have that sinking feeling that I had lost them both. The bells are not very loud but will give a reassuring tinkle!The other two sets I put on my mothers purse who has recently had a stroke and now has memory problems. The tinkle could be louder when the purse is in her bag but it’s definitely loud enough for her to notice if she drops her purse. I clipped them onto the zip pull which gives her something more substantial to hold on to.I didn’t have any problems opening the clips like others have complained about and they have been kicking around in my beast of a bag for the last week and haven’t come unattached.

Bought these as a friend was on the receiving end of having her purse taken, so bought to attach to my handbags, can be a bit noticeable if left hanging outside of the bag (jingle a lot) so just tuck them in, still effective as if anyone tried to move the zip they still sound quite loud

I LOVE these bells.I have 2 cats and the bell that came with their collars was so quiet. I never knew where they were.So I bought these and attached a pair of bells to each cats' collar. They are very loud and clear. They hang down a bit but the cats have got used to them.I can also quickly and easily remove the bells at night so they don't wake us all up charging around the house.

These little bells have all sorts of uses from finding keys in an overloaded handbag, for security when shopping and also attaching them to cat collars. Well made and enough noise from them not to be a distraction - unless your the cat.

These bells are very well made, and attach to your purse thus making it very secure as any movement of your purse causes the bells to ring and you definitely hear them in your bag. They are a very good idea. I had some given me by a Police lady but these only clipped to my purse, so I ordered these which have a proper fastening and won't come off. you get two separate sets so very good value.I find they give great peace of mind knowing you will be alerted to movement of your purse. Also there are times when I'm looking for my purse at the bottom of a very large bag and just moving or shaking the bag shows me that the purse is there and where it is.Everyone should use these bells - the police were giving them out In our area a few years ago, now I wouldn't be without them.

We used these on our tent while at a festival attached to the zips, as we was told padlocking is a give away to valuables and these are meant to scare would be thieves, we didn't have anything stolen so either we lucky or they worked. One set did come apart but I reckon this was me being wasted fighting to get into my tent. Loud and would recommend for the price.

This product is great a simple idea and the bells are not annoying they keep you more aware of the security of your handbag/ purse, I like the idea of two sets they are that bit louder, I have ordered another set for my mum I wanted to try them first see what they were like. It is very easy to become distracted in a busy street, lots of noise, traffic people chatting ect, these bell just remind you to take care and be aware of criminals trying to steal your belongings. excellent fast service from the seller thank you Deborah preston.
