Deleycon TV Cable Straight/Straight – Gold

I read all the enthusiastic reviews and how these cables improved picture quality but as a retired computer engineer, who in service life had dealt with the transmission of high frequency signals, I took it all with a pinch of salt. After all we’re talkiing digital signals here and it’s all down to 1s and zeroes i.e. you either have a signal if the 1s get through, doesn’t matter if they’re weak, just as long as they get through they can be decoded to give you picture and sound. I could measure the current signal strength using the tuning menu on my new TV but with some old co-ax cables, it was low, mediocre at best with a low quality reading. I replaced the old cables connecting my aerial wall outlet to my PVR and TV with these and the results amazed me. The signal strength was maximum on nearly all channels with signal quality at high or best. At first I didn’t believe the results so replaced the old cables again but down went the signals results again! So these cables do provide much better signal transmission than your average co-ax aerial connection cable, probably doing a better job than adding a line amplifier. The connectors themselves are high quality and the internal connections between the cable and the connectors, as far as I could determine, were robust and low resistance to high frequency signals. In summary, great cables but they won’t necessarily improve the actual quality of your picture just give your TV more signal to work with. Recommended wherever you need a co-ax connection.

Connection quality was good. Easy to install and good value for money. Glad it came in the black version.

No issues with the cable but I stupidly bought the cable without checking first that both ends were male! But then I also never saw anything saying that one end was male the other female! Anyway after removing the female end and replacing it with a male connector that I had lying around in my toolbox it works absolutely great.

I’ve been having signal problems for a while now. Sometimes I could get no signal and then other times it would get some channels. Tried two cheaper aerial leads both had the same result. Thought I give it one more try and I’m so glad I did as I now get perfect reception! One thing that is quite telling is the cable is thicker than a standard lead and feels better quality. My advise is if you have a dodgy signal pay a little more for a good quality lead.

Having suffered from low signal strength on my tv due to a number of interlinked budget coax cables, I bit the bullet and bought a high quality cable of the correct length. This resolved all of my poor picture problems. The cable and connectors immediately impress with their quality and the feel of the solid connections which are made when you plug it in. Also, the price was very reasonable when judged against the poor quality of budget cables which cost 50% less, but perform at a level of only 10% of this quality cable.

This looks like a good quality and robust cable. the connectors are attached firmly so should not fall off the cable when I move the TV like those on the old cable. However, the cable is M/F and no TV or Coax TV Socket I have ever seen has a male socket, so although you can connect one end to either the TV or the socket, the other does not fit - as others have pointed out. You have to buy the 2 pack of connectors which aren't described as M/M which would have made things easier. Fortunately another reviewer had confirmed this is what they are. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars. Why this cable isn't marketed with M/M connectors escapes me.

I have always had trouble with my aerial lead going into my Freeview box then looping through to the TV using a standard cheap extension lead. I have had to put up with lost signals and 'Pixelated' pictures especially in hot conditions. This replacement lead is substantial and very well made and is a bargain compared with the standard rubbish I have bought in the past. It is the proper lead for the job. Even despite this heatwave and abnormal atmospheric conditions my reception is steady. I recommend it and the supplier most highly.

Spent years with an indoor aerial and a booster. Meant I only got a decent picture on half the channels and had to move it about every now and then to regain a good picture. Must have spent £80 or more. Instead, I could have bought this at a fraction of the cost! I've retuned 3 of the 6 devices I have and found over 150 more channels (some are duplicates) and the picture quality is amazing! The only reason I didn't give 5* is that the port at one end is super tight and that at the other is loose, so not looking forward to having to move the device at the tight end (which has an outside aerial)

kabel voor de digitale televisie, beeld is veel beter als met de oude dunne kabel, signaal van de kabel tv ging van 75% naar 100% , goeie strakke connectors. kortom blij mee, tevens werd de kabel zeer snel geleverd.

Kürzlich habe ich mir einen Full-HD Fernseher gekauft. Momentan empfange ich noch keine HD-Sender (noch kein CI-Modul), sondern nur SD-Sender (Standard Definition). Bevor ich dieses Antennenkabel hatte, habe ich provisorisch ein sehr altes Antennenkabel genutzt, an dem die Stecker schon mehrfach repariert wurden. Auch war das alte Kabel nicht vergoldet. Seitdem ich dann dieses Kabel von deleyCON verwende, ist die Qualität der SD-Sender um einiges besser, als mit dem alten Kabel. - Zwar immer noch verschwommen, weil eben keine "echte" HD-Qualität, aber der Unterschied ist unglaublich. -- Ich muss mich deshalb der Rezension von "Gartenfreund" vom 3. März 2014 anschließen. Der Durchmesser des Kabels ist ein bisschen größer, als bei dem alten Antennenkabel. Das kommt wohl von den dickeren Kupferkabeln und/oder von der besseren Abschirmung. Bei der Länge von 12,5 m merke ich keine Minderung der Qualität. Wenn ich HD-Sender empfange, werde ich diese Rezension aktualisieren.
