Magnetic Elliptical Strider with iconsole bluetooth app connectivity

I set the elliptical machine within my garage and even though it comes in a quiet compact box, once assembled it does take up a lot of space.Assembly was really easy, although a bit time consuming.Once ready it was really great to use the bluetooth feature and compliments my treadmill.

I can't honestly say that I'm in love with it but I do like it for the ease on my joints as I've recently gone through knee surgery.There's absolutely no heavy impact on any joints, to be fair, so that really is a great way to exercise as you get a little older.My gripe, for want of a better word, with this is the sheer amount of time it took me to erect it. It's a bit of a monstrosity and it took me a good three days to finally put it together. Once up it's taking up half of my dining room.So, basically, if you have the space - great, and - if you have help putting it together - great.I've kept up with my daily stride on this and I do feel like it's easier for me to get up the stairs now and I also detect some more strength in my legs and I will keep liking to use it in the winter months when it's more difficult to get outside for a safe walk (icy roads, dark streets, etc.).The strider itself works as it should and I've enjoyed keeping track of my progress on the app I have on my mobile phone (easy setup and flawless connectivity via bluetooth).

This full-size elliptical gym machine comes packed down, with some assembly necessary to get it up and running. That assembly does take a fair while and requires medium DIY skills, I'd say, but once put together it feels solid and very secure to stand on (and I'm a big chap of around 100kg). It's a fair weight, too, so best to assemble it where it's going to stay. We've found it best to place it on a solid floor, or quite compact carpeting, which gives it a good solid base to stand on.In operation it does a great job without having the upper bulk a pro gym machine would. The effort level is easy to adjust, and the foot plates are comfortable and large enough for feet of any size. It's practically silent when in motion, too, which is a great bonus if you're in the habit of early morning workouts when the family is still lying in. Tracking connectivity is quick and easy to set up via the free iConsole app, which integrates well with HealthKit if you're using an iPhone to collate and monitor your progress.We've definitely felt the benefits of adding elliptical training to our home regime, not least because it's so smooth and kind on the joints, especially for older exercisers. For the price, it's an affordable way to get a full-size, gym-standard piece of workout kit into your home. A new favourite fixture in our family fitness corner!

I ordered this to keep in the garage. I can't use running machines as I have a weak knee, so thought this would be a good substitute. It didn't take too long to put together and the interactive feature with the bluetooth was useful to track progress. The machine itself is quiet as advertised, and adjustable to get the right exercise for you. The downsides are that it is around 30kg, so difficult to move, and it is bulky and doesn't fold down, so it would have to be a permanent fixture where-ever it is placed. It could do with some sturdy wheels to help move it.

This takes a little time to put together as it comes flat pack.Once constructed it works really well, easy to operate.Feels very solid for a flat pack bit of kit and very impressed with it for this price.
