Installed on cowling for use as side lights for off-roading
Installed a pair of these floods on the cowling --the bottom of the A pillar -- on a 4WD van used for overlanding. We aimed them approximately 45-degrees from straight ahead towards the roadsides. We want ditch lights because the vehicle's stock lights do a fair job of illuminating what is directly ahead, but, naturally and by design, don't show us what's off to the side. In their first real trial, we drove on rural road with no streetlights and no traffic for 30+ minutes with these on and, at least to the sides of the vehicle, it was almost like driving in daylight. We did not want a million lumens for ditch lights, and with four LEDs pumping out a claimed 3,168 raw lumens per pair or 1,584 each lamp, these are perfect for our intended purpose. The build construction seems fine -- Rigid claims IP68 sealing -- but time will tell if they stand up to the elements. Each lamp draws 2.14 amps, and we installed the pair without a relay using a 10-amp switch designed to fit in a knock-out on our van's dashboard. The color temperature of these lamps is high, which means the light is very white. The stock incandescent headlights seem yellow by comparison. The color temperature is not bad or good -- it's just an observation of their output. The wiring harness is fine. The included switch is illuminated but as mentioned we didn't use it. We had to cut the harness to adapt it to our use. That's not a criticism of the harness as one size cannot fit all. Be prepared to break out your soldering iron and shrink-tube during installation.Cautiously optimistic about the longevity of these lamps. Will update this review if they fail prematurely.

Rigid Lights are one of the Best in the Industry
The lights are well built and completely watertight. These provide a very bright flood light that lights up about 50 yds forward with a wide and tall beam of light. They are not to be used with oncoming traffic because it will blind other drivers. They are perfect for off road and dark deserted roads. I would highly recommend the brand, and the type of lights. I put them on a Ram 2500 with a HD steel Bumper and they were easy to adapt to both the bumper and the original wiring harness connectors.

You get what you pay for
All my friends tease me about buying rigid industries products because they’re more money than what they could find at other outlets. I really think they’re worth it. I’ve had one of the light bars for over five years in the sand (almost 10,000 miles of sand driving) and the lens is still perfect. Other guys have to replace their cheap ones every year because they stop working or the lens is so bad they so not work well enough. These work great! Nice and bright and they can handle the excessive vibrations from off roading.

Got them since I’m always out in the country side. I recommend these if you’ve been thinking about getting some. Rigid is the way to go. Easy install instructions, great price for a great product!

You get what you pay for
I hesitated on pulling the trigger on these to put on my side by side. Especially since there's identical off brand ones for a fraction of the price. But let me be the first to tell you that these lights are well worth the money. You pull them out of the box and they just feel indestructible sitting in your hand. Extremely tough and very well made. They come with everything you need to wire them in. And once they are and you turn them bad boys on you'll be blown away. These pods are brighter than full length bars that friends have on their side by sides. I got the flood pattern and have them turned outward at about a 45 degree angle and there's still no gap in the middle. I am 100% satisfied with these lights and am now a Rigid fan for life!

Great light, terrible brackets
So I bought 4 of these to put in my new bumpers that have space for them, they come with all the hardware and wiring harness needed to connect them to an independent switch, great and feels well made. I ended up splicing them into my reverse lights on the back and I purchased an adaptor to connect them into my factory fog light hookups. Works great. Now the problems come with how to mount them, the bracket creates a sizeable gap that did not allow them to fit into my bumper cutouts and the logo was going to be upside down, so I bought these rigid brand brackets that turn it right side up but they still would not fit in my bumpers. So I ended up having to cut the original bracket and running the bolt through a gap in the bracket with a washer in order to close that distance and make it fit in my bumper, also had to take all the bolts out of the faceplate to turn the emblem around to make it readable (voids warranty btw but I hated it being upside down), so after turning a 30 min install to a 2 hour install and having to cut brackets to make it fit, I love it. If the brackets were more adjustable would definitely be a 10/10 satisfaction
