Game. Changer.
As someone who does alot of solo hikes one of my pevs is that I have to keep stopping to have a drink. In winter it's annoying because I need to remove the rain cover from my bag and in summer it's a pain because I'm to hot to be bothered (ends up with me behind dehydrated). Honestly this works great with my camelbak water bottle. I've had no leaks or fitment issues (used 3 times for 5-6 hour hikes). The tube is a little long but if I want I'm sure I could cut it. The mouthpiece is good enough quality and the cap holds well. Only thing to make it ... 6/5 starts, would be an included tube cleaner. I have recommended this to many others and they like it as well :)

Turns a Sigg into a Camelbak
I've always loved a Sigg bottle. They just feel like a good quality piece of kit. And they last for decades!I've always liked the idea of a Camelbak for convenience on the move, but hated the palaver of trying to clean the inside of a collapsible bag. This is just the thing to combine both concepts and give the best of both worlds.I'm a bit of a numpty when it comes to hydration on a walk because I hate having to stop to get my trusty Sigg out of my rucksack. Yesterday I did a four hour stroll without stopping or getting dehydrated. This new bit of kit might just save my kidneys.Brilliant!

Universal water tube compatible with standard plastic borrles
This tube for drinking bottles has the advantage of being compatible with most of the plastic bottles on the market. You can simply use a plastic bottle chosing from the variety of sizes (0.5 L - 2L) and you don't have the problem of keeping a water bag clean.Advantages:- works with common plastic bottles;- easy to use when walking or cycling;- easy to clean;Downsides:- sometimes the flux of water is not uniform and a lot of air gets into the tube;- sometimes the tube doesn't let water into the bottle so the plastic bottle squeezes the more you drink;I am a frequent hiker and I've found this item very useful. All in all I believe has very good value.

Great alternative to a camelback!
Had previously had issues with my hydration bladder as when carried inside myrucksack the tube tended to move slightly and loosen off where the tube attached - soggywaterproof's and sarnies - Nice! With this I've attached directly to my Nalgene bottle which sits inside my pack and due tothe strength of the nalgene and the quality of this convertube the setup is virtually leakproof!Even tried turning the bottle upside down for a trip and still no leaks, plastic is very thick and well moldedand the whole things seems very robust,Very happy and would recommend highly to those looking for an alternative to a normal hydration bladder setup.only thing that would have been nice is a longer tube to the mouthpiece as they can always be shortened if needed.

Great product
This is a great product . I have had mixed performance from some bladders and thought I would turn to this. It connects well with my Nalgene's , siggs and conventional water bottles and flow rate is good. Easy to clean and you don't have a fiddly bladder to contend with. This is now my system along with my sawyer mini and bottles. Very satisfied

Great idea, but no seals in the lids
Great idea, bought for use with a 1L Nalgene but it really could do with and o ring or seal as it does drip here and there. Had to buy an O ring kit to make it work properly

Excellent product. Easier to use and clean than the conventional bladder. I attach it to my 1 litre plastic bottle and works well. Much easier to clean this tube than the whole bladder.

Didn't do it for me
Going off walking in the wilds of Spain I expected to be buying bottled water. I thought this might be the ideal solution to save having to decant from plastic bottles into other bottles/bladder. Unfortunately the screw tops supplied with this didn't fit any of the available bottled waters so I had to mess about pouring water from bought bottles to my own (which luckily I had taken with me) which did fit the adaptor.Another irritation was that the tube was too wide to fit through the tube-hole in my back pack ('compatible with most hydration systems' except this one) so I had to feed it out through the top zip and clip the two zips together to stop the pack gaping open.I found the mouthpiece to have an unpleasant plasticky taste and , frequently, when I removed the protective cover to drink, the bite tube came off with it leaving water dribbling down my top while I extricated the part and re-attached it.After a few days I found myself just taking the bought bottles in my side pockets and drinking directly from them - less hassle and tasted better. So, all in all, a waste of money for me. But probably ideal if you're just filling sigg or nalgene or other bottles from a tap.
