Rosewood Blue Ribbon CAVE COMPLEX - SML

It's ok. I still haven't put it in the tank as I'm having to sand the inside because there are very sharp edges that will injure the aquatic life, so just be warned it will take a bit of time sanding it down. It would have been better if the inside had sections instead of being a single open space. I have shrimp and fish and the shrimp like their space :-). It is made from a strong material and a nice object to look at and I'm sure it will look good once in the tank. The size is just right for my 120L tank.

Externally looks good, internally has a few bits that are misformed, would be fine if you couldn't see it, but one is quite big and partially obstucts one of the entrance holes and is visible through the hole. Not a massive big deal, however I noticed they stock at my local shop, I wish I had bought it there so I could have been more picky. I don't think it's related to the quality but none of my fish are interested in going into it.

I ordered the 'small' version and was very impressed with its size! Plenty of space inside for my mollies to hide from my turtle (although they prefer to hide behind it rather then inside it). I recommend rocks around it to weigh it down as i think my map turtle could move it if he wanted too. Great product and good price compared to whats available at your local pet shop.

What all the negative comments are about I am not sure. Fish may be a little bit daft sometimes but they are not stupid and are not gonna hurt themselves on the rough edges! Fish swim near coral and rocks which are very sharp and they know how to get near to these things without cutting themselves. My Weather Loach love it. It looks great in my tank too! I recommend this.

Recently went into the tank and the fish have been getting lots of use of it already. The smaller fish like playing and swimming through it while the larger fish like to just hang out inside. The inside of the ornament is hollow, the holes open into a large open internal space, they are not individual holes.

My small clown loaches love this little cave! They are forever peeking through and darting in and out! Proper Loach enrichment!! Hehe. It’s my first time buying a resin piece - but it doesn’t look out of place with plants and wood around it. Recommended.
