Good quality, nice product, works well.

When it works, it's great and the soda is crisp. Recommend using bottle spring water as tap water becomes strong. However, about 1/5 CO2 cartridges backfire, almost taking fingers off, and the water shoots out at random. Feels dangerous when this happens, and my wife is afraid to use it. Looks pretty and tastes good when it works.

I had a siphon gaskets wear out and purchased this to replace it. I have been using this since I got it and am finding that one batch of soda will be fizzy, the next won't be as fizzy. I didn't have that with the old siphon. All in all it works, but not 100%, hence the 4 starts. Next time I might spend a little more for the more expensive brand.

I have used this for a year. Loading the CO2 cartridge is tricky and erratic. Sometimes the gas leaks out the side and does not charge the water. Sometimes the siphon leaks water. When it works it produces crisp, clean sparkling water but overall it has been a headache and I am about to trash it as too much trouble.

I just received the soda siphon today, and was sadly disappointed to find that a key component was missing from the packaging. The CO2 cartridge holder, seen on the product image and the box it came in, was nowhere to be found inside of the packaging. Without it, I have a very large water bottle, as you need the cartridge holder to make fizzy water. I just put in a missing items report, and will edit my review when the issue is resolved. Edit: I got my replacement the today (the day after), which Amazon made right. I had to order a new one, and Amazon refunded me the first order, plus waiving the shipping to get me a new one ASAP. I tried the device out, and it works great so far. I followed advice listed on similar products' reviews, which is to chill the container in my fridge, use cold, purified water, agitating the water, shaking it ~20 times, and leaving the cartridge in for a couple of hours before removing it. I put a bit of Real Lemon in a cup and filled it with the carbonated water, and it tasted pretty good, and I'm honestly excited about trying other ideas to flavor my water. Edit: (4/10/16) A little over a year now, and the water, once carbonated, will stay settled in the bottle until you dispense water. Then it starts coming out the backside, where the CO2 enters from. I'm not sure what's causing this, but it's not good. I may have to get a different siphon.
