I really like the look of this. Nice little window to see through and although I'd say is not mega sturdy it looks good for the money paid and is more than adequate for bread. Other comments are right in that the measurements on the description are wrong. It's only 13cm high and 19.5cm deep. The width is 34cm as stated. So whilst you could not get an 800g loaf in it, it is ideal for the 400g loaf I make in my bread maker. I took a star off the overall score for the incorrect description.

There are measurements in the description but silly me thought that a bread bin would be big enough for bread. I know I'm obviously an idiot for thinking that, maybe it means bread rolls, could fit a few of those in there.

Quality of the product itself is great, unfortunately the packaging could be improved upon as it came dented (hence only the 4x stars). I pushed it back out and it's not that noticeable so didn't want to go through the return/replacement process.The bread bin could do with being higher, the lid doesn’t close properly most of the time because the loaves are taller than the bread bin - the lid only fits properly when you’re down to the last third of your loaf and you can turn it on its side.

Consdiering it's for bread you hope it would take a standard loaf. Nope! Too shallow. Putting a fresh loaf in requires a push to help it fit. After a few slices are used it fits better but not really great.If farm house style loaves are your thing then it suits most of these except for the larger/wide loaves.I looks great and the chopping board is perfectly useable. Just a little bigger and it's 5/5.

I make my own bread and needed a small bread bin to keep one loaf. This one is just the right size and does not take up much room on the counter. The fact that the lid doubles as a bread board is fantastic - one space for two items.
