In terms of fire hazards, is the self adhesive lampshade panel heat resistant? Or do you need to use fire retardant fabric etc

says on the packaging you can use any fabric. I used painted silk and have had no problems light has been on about 3 hours at a time so far

Hi there. Yes, it can, but you have to change the way you make the shade. You need to tear the strips off the self adhesive panel first. Then stick your wallpaper to the panel. Trim the wallpaper so there is a 12mm overhang over the panel at the top and bottom. This overlap is what you roll around the rim of the lampshade ring. Then you can trim off any excess with a sharp knife.Hope that helps.Needcraft Team
