Albolene Moisturizing Fragrance Free Cleanser (Pack of 3)

The product in the tube does come out looking less creamy white colored than the one in the jar. The product in the tube looks a bit like a slightly more liquid version of Aquaphor (this is not surprising considering that Aquaphor and this product have similar ingredients). Regardless of appearance, the tube product performs the same and is much easier to use for travel and in the shower. The product melts and removes my water resistant tinted sunscreen with ease and it also serves as a very moisturizing morning cleanse (if you have dry skin). I generally put the product on in the morning and allow it to sit for a while then remove with a damp soft washcloth. This product is extremely versatile for travel, not just because of its tube packaging. It can be used as a cleanser and makeup remover, of course, but also as a moisturizer for hands, face and is particularly well suited as a foot and elbow cream. No, it doesn't have all of the great skin happy ingredients that modern moisturizers do but sometimes super dry skin needs the occlusive moisturizers (petroleum and mineral oil) found in this cleanser. If you are paying $20, $30 or even $40 for a "cleansing oil" or makeup remover, give this affordable one a try and see if you can't save yourself some money. Those with oily skin should look elsewhere.

I've recently started using a Korean skincare routine, part of which includes a first (oil-based) cleanser followed by a second (foaming/water-based) cleanser. I've tested 3 oil cleansers so far, and Albolene is by far my favorite. Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Oil made me break out, as did DHC. Albolene has not made me break out once since I began using it - what's more, it is cheaper than the other two! I love the way it feels, too! It comes out of the tube looking similar to vaseline, but it melts into your skin the second it touches your face. I like to massage it in, wait 10 minutes, massage again, and then I wipe it off - you can use a washcloth, paper towel, or tissue for this part. I follow up with a foaming cleanser (Sulwhasoo Snowise Brightening Cleanser). My face feels very nourished and clean after these steps. The Albolene completely removes all traces of makeup, better than anything I've tried before. The second cleanser removes all traces of the Albolene - something I don't think is necessary, as I believe it is supposed to leave a residue on the skin, but as someone who occasionally suffers from fungal acne I am afraid to leave any oil on my T-zone.TLDR: Good for sensitive, dehydrated skin, doesn't irritate FA.

I have used Albolene from for decades. Real Albolene is solid in the jar but melts quickly at body temperature. I ordered this stuff for a trip, only to find that it's not the same consistency at all. The stuff from these tubes appears to be petroleum jelly, not Albolene.

This melts my makeup right off, and leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth the next morning. I highly recommend it!

Same great product as containers but impossible to get out of tube. I have had to cut tubes in half, with scissors, so I wasn't tossing half of it away. Get the container type.
