It's a nice sturdy keysafe, however it took me 4 X the amount of time and a broken thumb mail to get the large label off of the front cover than to actually fit the keysafe! In the end I had to go and get solvent (methylated spirits) as soap and water wouldn't shift it. Absolutely ludicrous!

This is a robust, strong and well-made lock. I have bought two of these and they work a treat.

Bought this as it looked strong and easy to use. Hardest part was getting the packaging off it. Good instructions on how to reset code. Easy to fit to wall. Very secure. Well pleased.

I ordered this after getting locked out of my house when the wind blew my door shut behind my back whilst just standing on doorstep!!! Nightmare it was in the heat last week 27 degrees marvellous. Took me three hours to get in!!... Plus in the meantime my neighbour but one was talking to me with her three year old on the door step and same gust of wind slammed her door shut with her daughters fingers in the frame!!! OUCH awful I had to rush to the rescue ran round ( she had left her back door open thank god) poor little mites hand was flat like a cartoon we run it under the tap then she was whisked off to hospital, luckily badly crushed bruised and sore but not broken. With all this hulabaloo fresh in my mind I researched around and some of these key locks are over priced really expensive and also they allow people to suss out the number sequence SO BEWARE WHEN CONSIDERING read up about the one you choose. this one however is a really good price and a solid bit of kit, Size just right and door movement easy,keys of all sizes fit, and to put up on the wall was a dream with the metal template provided.. The only problem we had was getting it out of the cardboard backing it came on lol!!! As all the instructions are inside the key safe and the universal code is hidden under all the packaging which you need to release the key lock from the rest of packing...The number dials are excellent and there's no way it gives away your chosen combo of numbers( others as I've said before click when the chosen combos are one number away!! Not good) we've placed it behind our drainpipe ( can't be seen) behind iron locking side gates( but enough room to reach the lock through bars and retrieve a key should the need ever arise again ) phew I feel so much better now and so is the little girls hand :-) buy it and have peace of mind.

This key safe ticks all the boxes: the combination lock is precise (i.e. no 'loose feel' to aid pickers) and has a useful weatherproof cover that, when closed, makes it look innocent like an electrical junction box. The best thing, though, is how tough it is - you'll be surprised by just how heavy it is when the package arrives. The small box weighs at least a kilo, very strong metal and the locking nubs are about 5mm in diameter each side. Basically, it's tough enough for nobody to bother with - it'd be less trouble kicking down most front doors. Another useful factor is the ease of installation - a metal plate acts as a "guide" to mark out the drill holes (all you need is a masonry drill and probably some plastic screw sockets to seat them properly). The metal plate then goes inside the safe, adding to its strength. Finally, it's a good size inside. Big enough for long keys, keyrings, and chunky electronic car ones, even unfolded. So no problem storing spare sets of everything in there. Overall, an excellent little product at a killer price (I paid £23.99.)

Looks one of the most sturdy available on the market, and I am confident because it comes from a known brand. I could not find similar products in the €30 range. Installation on wood or concrete by 4 screws is easy for someone not so good at manual work like me. Operation is quick and easy also with low light and low accessibility. I use it for keys of doors with comparable sturdiness: it would be more convenient for the potential intruder to attack the door directly, than the safe. I use to hide it for additional safety (attached to a fence behind some vegetation). I purchased two. I have found a similar problem as in other reviews, with the dials that turn not so smoothly near the set combination. Actually one of the two had exactly this problem, when delivered, but it has been promptly replaced, so no problem for me, I am sorry for the company if they need to replace 50% of them. One of the two is at open air, rains or shines, and after about a year is still perfectly in shape.

I bought this for my partners elderly parents who were in need of a safe place to put their keys for use in an emergency access situation. The lock looks tough and robust and should stand a fair amount of abuse by an intruder. It looks Ok on the wall. As it would require a sledge hammer to remove and open the safe, we mounted it in an place which was in full view of the neighbours. Any unauthorised attempt to open the safe should be evident. It was easy to fit the safe to the brick wall using the internal steel back plate as a marking out template. I had some difficulty trying to get the template out as it was a tight fit in the safe casing. I used larger screws than those provided which I felt gave a more secure fixing to the wall. Other reviewers comments regarding how to unpack the safe were very helpful as it is difficult to work out how to remove the unit from the sturdy packaging. I can't comment on the problems experienced by other reviewers regarding the seizure of the dials as the safe has only been in use for a month. However the safe does seem to be well sealed from water ingress.

The first thing you notice when handling this, is the weight, It's heavy. I wanted something to keep my front gates keys in to enable people like my window cleaner access when I wasn't home. The only worry you have about these devices are; Are they physically strong enough to keep the key safe from forcible entry Are they big enough to hold a reasonable sized bunch of keys Are they easy to operate with the combination YES to all. It's heavy and it's strong. More than enough room for several keys and the combination lock is smooth and simple to operate. Fitting is easy too. It comes with an added, removable plate which gives extra strength to the actual fixing to the wall, but can also be used as a template for the fixing holes. Screws and wall plugs are included, but I preferred to use heavy duty fixing bolts to secure mine. A minor observation. I think the addition of a hook added to the back plate for hanging the keys might have been a good idea. I like this product so much, I replaced the one previously purchased to hold my spare house key, with one of these. Are they waterproof

Die Wandmontage war unkompliziert. Das nötige Befestigungsmaterial ist dabei, und mit vier Schrauben sitzt der Tresor bombenfest an der Wand. Ideal für Außenbereiche, etwa am Gartenhaus oder für die Schlüsselaufbewahrung am Ferienhaus. Besonders positiv finde ich das Zahlenschloss:.Die Einstellung isteinfach, die Zahlen lassen sich präzise und ohne Widerstand drehen, und der Mechanismus funktioniert zuverlässig, auch bei wechselnden Temperaturen und Feuchtigkeit. Kein Hakeln, kein Nachjustieren nötig.
