Solid Brass Lock Cylinder with 3 Brass Keys 63mm Door Lock Cylinder Replacement

Worked on the first try with no problems and it has big keys which i like. No more bible thumpers holding open my screen door and banging on my decorative exterior door window because the storm door is locked up tight. 5 stars just for that.

We didn't have the keys to 2 storm doors and a locksmith asked for $165 per door to replace the lock cylinder. I started to research & found these here on Amazon for only $20 each. I read the reviews and there were many tips of how to replace the lock (unfortunately, no instructions came with the locks, but as one reviewer wrote just remove the one screw right under the locking mechanism). Installed the lock in just 1 minute! Saved so much money!! Lock is hefty and solid. Bonus is you get a total of 6 keys and they all fit the 2 locks, so no need to make duplicates. A great & affordable find and now our house is much more secured.

Worked great to repair my outer glass door. Very easy and fast installation. The only issue I had was the screw was too long for my door. I was able to reuse the original old screw and it worked fine.

As another person shared, this lock was a little longer than my old Andersen lock. Not an issue, but note that the lock sticks out a little in the front of the door and on the inside. That means I had to position the lock just right so that the screw would go in the hole, and I was able to figure that out in 30 seconds. Also, the screw that came with it was too long. However, the lock itself worked fine! I used the same screw from the old lock, which was being replaced because I had no key for it and could only locked the door from the inside. So if the lock is too long, you might still be able to use it, if you have a screw that's the right size. This was good bang for the buck. It only took a few minutes to install and all 3 keys that came with the lock worked fine.

Don't buy this product. It's a faulty product. I bought this product and it was installed. Afterwards, when you get locked, the key doesn't come out, that is, you can't lock the door and take the key with you, it doesn't come out. When I wrote to the company that sold it, they don't care, I am writing this in order to expose irresponsible sellers like this. Don't buy it. It's been a long time since I wrote a comment, I am writing this to protect others.

Great and inexpensive considering how much the local stores wanted for same item. Some stores only had the entire door handle assembly which was very expensive. Changed both front and rear doors on house.

Used to replace the lock on my Wright mortise system. Lock seems to do well although I had to file the cam down to work with my Wright system as it was larger than the original and would not turn without alteration.
