Wow!
Left me speechless and inspired! I got this book after stumbling upon one of its quotes on Pinterest. Not going to lie, when I unpacked it, I was a bit sceptical and slightly disappointed, as the size of the book was smaller than expected. However, few pages in, I understood that I SHOULDN'T have judged the book by its cover!Love the fact that it is so easy and simple to read and relate to. The author had done a fantastic job of delivering his ideas and points across, including the creative illustrations. Not to mention it is fun and entertaining too! Could not stop myself and finished it in a few hours.I am an artist, however I feel like this book would suit anyone! I find that it helps to ignite the lost curiosity towards simple things of life...To summarise: I would recommend this book.

Innovative Kindlebook
This kindlebook of Steal Like An Artist; 10 Things Nobody Told You About Being Creative by Austin Kleon is a mentor type of guide in written form. However, despite the title, the author carefully explains the difference between what he means by the title in order to stay plagiarism-free. Good advice such as going to the library (fortunately there are multiple libraries in the area I reside), starting a logbook, choosing what to leave out, keeping your day job, keeping a praise file, the benefits and freedom in obscurity, and more are mentioned. Kleon also helpfully gives an explanation for why you want to encourage the writer in you to flourish/develop with little concern as to the outcome of your work andor how you are publicly judged (in his validation is for parking section). From my perspective, this kindlebook is also extremely helpful because sometimes there is going to be other people with the same first name as you andor interests who also write online. However, the way you gather ideas, what you like and dislike, your personality/temperament, how you glean inspiration as a writer etc. is going to differ from even another person who shares your first name, has similar interests etc. A kindlebook such as Steal Like An Artist; 10 Things Nobody Told You About Being Creative by Austin Kleon comes in to fill the need for resource inspiration ideas.

Perfect book if you're questioning your place in the creative world
This book was recommended to me by a few fellow creatives in an amazing community I'm part of on social media.I needed this book, but didn't know about it until it was recommended.I'd reached out to the group about the fact that as an illustrator I felt a bit lost in the creative world, like I hadn't found my place, because I didn't have a 'style' by which people could recognise my work, and no particular style that I favoured illustrating over others, I just felt like I wasn't a real illustrator if I didn't produce consistent work that was clearly 'me', like everyone else seems to do. I would (and still do really) trawl through the art by others I admired, and be able to say oh that's by so and so, they're so good!No one could do that with me, as my illustrations are so random, there's no cohesion. Should I stop putting my art out there until I know who I am as an artist? So this book was one of two recommended to me to read (find your artistic voice by Lisa Congdon is the other). And I'm so glad I did buy this. It all made sense, it all seemed so relatable, in particular section 2 - Don't wait until you know who you are to get started. If you're an artist just starting out, or one who already creates a lot of art (any kind of creation really) and are unsure you belong in the creative world yet because you're not good enough, or you're not original enough, or you don't know your style yet - get this book.

Small but well formed
Quite pricey for the size and length of the book. I read it in about 20 minutes. However I will definitely dip into it again for inspiration/ kick up the pants as there are some good tips from the author and quotes from other illustrious creatives. Overall I liked it - but maybe that's because I'd already put in place some of the author's suggestions?

Un libro que te provoca e inspira a cada página. Un libro que te invita a leer una página y parar a pensar. Un libro que leerás decenas de veces y cada una te dirá algo distinto. Un libro fantástico.

Thinking outside of the box!!!!
I not sure stealing is a great to place in a title!!! Thieves don’t make the greatest neighbors. Anyways the book is so insightful and borrowing ideas is a great idea. I think it’s a great book to give as a gift. It’s well done and makes us think outside the box.

A must to read
É um “classic”. Ten que ser lido. Precisava em idioma inglés e consegui com esse fornecedor um preço menor do que na livraria. Chegou em boas condições e no tempo certo sem pagar taxa extra.
