Will it work with el capitan os x?

Hi Barry, you know this is just an aerial for a wireless modem or router, right?Its designed to enhance the performance of such a device.So if the device currently works with os x el capitan it should continue to do so once this antenna is fitted (assuning in range).

I have a alfa awus036ach with 2 wifi aerial ports would you be able to use 2 of these antennas on it? or are they too heavy? would it be over kill?

You are able to use multiple of these antennas on any device which has multiple ports. You just need to be sure to have about 15cm between ports otherwise the antennas may bump into eachother and not fit. These antennas are very light so they shouldn’t be too heavy for anything. I can’t say if it will be overkill or not - that depends on your situation.

Will these work better than the home fi huawei b310 router's standard external antenna?

I don't think it's a good replacement. Not sure what's wrong but couldn't start Speedtest.net because of Latency Test Error and then wasn't able to connect to the web at all. Reverted antenna settings to AUTO and restarted my PC few times to get back to normal. Will return this and probably look for B612.
