I would like to thank, Pete and Alexandra at Moonster products, because the leather journal that I bought from you was just perfect. I bought it as a present for my partner, who like myself, loves all things vintage/antique or as though they come from another time... and also have a great love of handcrafted items that have been made with love. This journal is beautiful... it is wonderfully rustic and the leather is beautifully soft, as though it has been worn in for years. It also has the lovely scent of real leather. We love the slightly distressed look of the natural leather and it only made it look more gorgeous and handmade. The tie is very strong and will last. The paper within is lovely, handmade, quality paper, of a creamy tint, which can be written on with a fountain/ink dipping pen, as well as any other kind of writing pen or pencils. My partner had always wanted one of these type of journals and I am very glad that I chose this one... it really is perfect and he is beyond pleased with it, he takes it everywhere he goes.. so he can write in it, when he is inspired. He couldn't believe that I had found one that was so 'him'.. and so beautiful. This is a small family company and I feel that they take real care over each product... and I'm very happy to recommend them. I would definitely buy from them again in a heartbeat. What a beautiful book and it's so tactile, the leather is so soft to touch, I feel like I need to take Calligraphy to compliment the lovely book, this book was better than I expected.

I have bought 3 of these as gifts for other people. 1 will be used as a travel journal and the other 2 as diarys. I love them and hope the recipients will too. The leather is thick and strong with a rustic look. The paper is natural and thick. I've only given 4 stars because I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to have a refillable feature, it seems a shame that once they are fully used they are then sitting on a shelf. But, hopefully the recipients will enjoy using them, there is certainly enough pages and once full of memories they will be referred to over and over. I'm looking forward to giving them as gifts.

I am absolutely in love with this journal! It's gorgeous, and as soon as I opened the package I smelled it and swooned. The smell of brushed leather is my favorite. There is literally nothing negative I could say about this gorgeous work of art. I'm amazed by the price, in all honesty... I think it's worth much, much more than the listed price. It's extremely soft from all angles... Even the pages are soft! I slept with it last night. I'm not one to keep journals, so I don't understand my love for this one. I got this for my Grimoire. I've ordered a couple others and gave them to my niece... I just didn't "feel" them. This one, however, is perfect. Enough of my creepy journal stalker talk. As stated, it's soft. The leather is aged and extremely good quality. It has a heavy weight to it, which is nice. There is no clasp, but instead a long leather strip that wraps around it several times... Also very good quality. The pages are made of cotton, and it shows. They're also soft and have a nice weight and feel to them. There was a protective "sleeve" between the leather and the first and last pages, to prevent staining and damage... Which I'm very happy for. The journal itself was in an envelope, however it was within a burlap pouch, which was also wrapped in plastic. I was so relieved about that, since it rained the night it was delivered. It's very thick... Full of pages. Many, many pages. And it looks like you can replace these pages once they're filled up with no real issues. You'd probably need to remove some stitching. It is GENUINE leather. The smell reminds me of a tack shop (I grew up with horses, so this is comforting). The company helps children in Africa and believes in being eco-friendly, which really shows in their craftsmanship. This is by far the most gorgeous item I've ever ordered off Amazon. I already had a coworker order one as well. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

È davvero un bellissimo quaderno. L’esterno è in cuoio anticato, e la chiusura è assicurata dal laccetto che gira una volta e mezza intorno alle copertine. Nel mio non si sente odore di cuoio, poiché non sono un esperto non attribuisco un giudizio sulla qualità dello stesso.. tuttavia visivamente ha un enorme fascino e fa figura. Le pagine interne sono porose, credo derivate dal cotone: per me che adoro scrivere con la mia stilografica è una manna. Consiglio sinceramente l’acquisto di questo oggetto. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ben realizzato, fascinoso, originale, e sembra provenire da un’altra epoca. Servizio Amazon perfetto.
