excellent purchase
These are really great and sharp. I've been drilling holes into 7inch thick pine with ease. I had previously purchased auger bits. and they were not as sharp and were biting into the would very aggressively which meant it was going in too fast causing the bit to snap. these were great. holes were drilled cleaner. Keep in mind not to use force as it will snap the bits due to the length. Pull in and out so clear debris so that the bit can do it's magic. also advise to use a ruler or guide to mark the entry point with a line so to keep it inline.

Poor quality drill bit made with inferior steel and hardened poorly.
Very poor quality made items made with inferior steel. I also doubt the hardening & tempering if the steel. I was using this to drill out a block of olive wood to make a knife handle and the steel twisted and did not snap and when the drill was reversed to pull out the 8mm drill bit it actually unwound it’s self and snapped at the shank and left the remaining unwound drill but stuck in the wood ruining a £25.00 block of olive wood burl. My faith in these drill bits and in Nielsen has been shaken to the point of me considering no longer purchasing there goods. If Nielsen cared about there customers they would get in touch with me to rectify this issue but I don’t think they would as they would not of sold me a inferior quality tool compared to it competitors and it’s almost a guarantee if a company sold you a poor quality product then they don’t care for there customer. I suppose if they get thousands of reviews then they probably won’t read this and therefore won’t right this wrong as you can’t right a wrong with an other wrong. I’ve left a picture of the shank to show you where it twisted then snapped. It’s my theory that they are only hardening the shaft up to the base of the shank which is where it twisted and the bit un wound it’s self to be straight which ruined my unique piece of olive wood burl and the weak point is the transition from the annealed soft steel to the point of the hardened steel which is exactly where it twisted and snapped so it’s self evident that I’m probably right.

Excellent value for money!
I've got to drill through some thick pieces of wood, so I bought these to see what they're like. I tested the second-smallest drill bit on a beam in my barn. It's very, very hard wood and the bit went through it in a few seconds. The time between the first and second photos is about four seconds, so the drilling rate is very good. As for longevity, I can't yet comment, but for the price I've got no complaints at all.

Long Drills
Dont need drills this long very often but when I have had to use them they have worked fine. When drilling relieve the swarf every inch or so as you should with any drill and all good.

Very soft and bend easily
they are ok if you go slowly but the smaller ones can warp and bend easily. not high tensile at all

Super Cheap but you get what you pay for
Look fantastic and super cheap. I only needed a single long drill bit but it was cheaper to buy a set so I fell for the product on price alone. Unfortunately, the drills are made of very cheap / poor / soft metal and having drilled the very 1st hole into fairly soft wood the cutting edge of the drill was worn away and became blunt. Attempted the 2nd hole and the drill bit just snapped. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for and cheap is not actually cheap if the product is of no practical use. I only had 8 x holes to drill, and if the tool had managed that and then needed to be thrown away, I could probably have lived with that. However, if drill bits only manage a single hole, better to avoid altogether and pay a little extra for something that does the job.

Unsafe, don't buy
The media could not be loaded. These are not safe to use. They are made of unhardened mild steel and will bend on first use.
