Cotton Generation 3 Digital SLR Camera Harness, Grey, 1

The harness is made of top quality material and feels very sturdy. It is light and relatively comfortable to wear, whether it's just over a t-shirt, or over a waterproof jacket whilst wearing a backpack. The attaching mechanism is very secure and there is little, if any, chance of the camera falling out accidentally. Although not strictly necessary, I prefer to leave the camera strap attached to the camera and placed around my neck. This way, when I detach it from the harness, I cannot possibly drop it. The included waterproof cover is an added bonus for those quick, unexpected showers as it saves the hassle of removing a backpack and storing the camera away - only to have to reverse the process a few minutes later when the rain stops to get the camera out again! I'm in my mid-seventies now and like to use hiking poles wherever possible. Before buying the harness, the camera would swing from side to side as I hiked. As both my hands were on the poles, I had no means of stopping this from happening - the harness has solved this frustrating problem once and for all! Attaching and extracting the camera are extremely simple operations, simply twist and lift up to extract, slot in and twist to secure. The harness is fully customisable with regards to height and fit on the torso. There are plenty of adjustable straps that cater for all types of clothing being worn and all types of body shapes. Despite being quite expensive for what it is, the harness serves its intended purpose exceptionally well. Let's face it, it would easily outweigh the cost of an unsecured camera or lens that had smashed against a rock face! So, although expensive, I would wholeheartedly recommend this harness to anyone wanting to hike with their camera always at the ready.

Bought for my photography-mad wife as a present. She absolutely loves it - fits well and comfortably, the camera latches easily and securely onto the mechanism and is equally easily unclipped and raised ready for taking photographs. looks robust and well constructed. Has earned me many brownie points!!!

I have recently been struggling with carrying my long lens and camera combination and aggravating a shoulder and neck muscle. I decided to purchase the Camera Harness and i have not looked back since.It has been a massive help and i can walk around with my Canon RF 200-800 and Canon R7 attached without having to end up in pain after a long hike. The camera is very easily attached and unattached via the clip at the front and it is very safe to walk around with.Made from very high quality materials you certainly get what you pay for and i would thoroughly recommend purchasing if you are considering one

This is a well built quality product. It has a high price tag when compared to similar on the market but it is worth it. It fits very snuggly and can be adjusted so the chest piece can be lowered when attaching to a large lens foot. This moves the camera lower so it's not in your face. I use it with a D500 and nikon 200-500 attached to the lens foot. The only thing is the receiver is made of a plastic or nylon. If it does break I will be machining one from aluminium and copper rivet it in it's place. It would be 5 stars if this had been aluminium.

It’s such a clever design & well built. Really wish I had invented this! Keeps the 500mmPF & 70-200 well balanced despite their weight. Had to take out their feet & attach the bases directly to the lens to prevent them from cantilevering. The lenses don’t really come in the way unless you are constantly watching your feet. Even then it’s not really a bother. When normally walking one watches about 3-5 feet ahead anyway. After a whole day of use, I didn’t develop any backache or neck pain The lenses on their cameras were very safe. Only thing is the provided raincoat could be better designed & the bases could be better designed to prevent them from twisting to an angle when attached to the lens. But overall a perfectly 5 star product. Very happy

With this I can walk around, hands free, with a 400mm wildlife lens strapped firmly to my body and not swinging around. I can have my open coat over it and then my backpack, all of which can be removed while I have the camera still attached to my body. Turn the camera 90 degrees, lift upwards and its in your hands ready to take the shot. Yes, you don't have the pull on your neck as you do with your standard camera strap, but its main advantage to me is your camera doesn't swing around. If you attach the stabilising strap you can even run with it! I don't use the side holster, but maybe I will when I get some binoculars. This is the best accessory I've ever bought, so can only give it 5 stars but here are its (minor) problems. I use a 70d with the 580 flash and the rain cover won't quite fit. I think it would with the 430 but not sure. The "real tree" camo logo is printed upside down. WTF! Anyway, I told you they were minor.

I've previously had a Black Rapid double sling and also a Peak Design sling these are both still great options, But the cotton carrier for me is the best, its very comfortable when carrying my 150-600mm lens , there plenty of adjustment in the straps and also comes with a camera to carrier tether strap which I use all the time for safety..All in all for me this is the best camera carrier I've had its so comfortable and frees up both your hand too ...Perfect

Product does exactly as it states. Quality sturdy material. Carries my Nikon z7ii with long zoom lens attached no problem. Package arrived with tether strap missing . Amazon unable to help other than return for refund. I emailed supplier who within 15 minutes responded and shipped me a replacement free of charge. Great service.

LOVE this carrier, and it was absolutely worth every cent. I had been using one I bought from Amazon for like $40.00 which was well worth the money. However, I noticed it was not supportive in ways that I needed to ensure my back was not taking the weight of my camera (especially since I was using it to carry my camera with a telephoto lens). Upgrading to this one was like night and day! It is SO comfortable and carries the weight well as you can tighten it properly without the straps slipping. It is super well made, and good quality. I just wish the pocket had a flap with velcro to ensure things did not fall out of it as I like to keep my key or extra memory cards in it. The bino harness also works well!

J'ai testé le harnais par deux fois maintenant (une rando d'une demi-journée puis un trek de deux jours), je suis super satisfaite ! Je pars prochainement au Népal pour réaliser un trek de 15 jours, ce harnais va être mon meilleur outil pour le transport et l'utilisation facile de mon appareil photo ! Je recommande vraiment, ça change la vie de ne pas avoir un appareil en bandoulière ou qui force sur une épaule suivant l'attache sac à dos ! Ce harnais permet d'équilibrer parfaitement l'appareil pour le corps, de plus il est léger et en maille dans le dos donc respirant et assez fin pour pouvoir avoir un sac à dos de trekking sur le dos sans que rien ne gêne.
