great quality
Very good quality spanish Saffron, great for a Paella and other Saffron based dishes. Not cheap but beware Saffron is expensive and alternative dirt cheap Saffron is better in the bin - you get what you pay for! We have bought about a dozen boxes so far.

Reasonable quality
Happy with the quality and whilst I ordered 2 x 2g boxes I received 4 x 1 g. Thats actually better for keeping it fresh so quite happy

I think I got conned.
Quality of this Saffron is pretty bad. Even after putting lot saffron the food item don't get color as it should. I think I got conned.

I would say this contains 1/4 genuine saffron and 3/4 fake saffron. 3/4 of it loses it's colour extremely quickly in water. The threads that remain with strong colour definitely look like saffron strands (trumpet shaped). The colourless strands that remain do not. I'm going to stop searching for cheap saffron on Amazon because all of it is a con, this is my third saffron buy that I am not happy with.

Saffron rocks
Saffron is wonderful. Take it at night, a few strands added to a cup of warm milk, and it's a soporific. Take it in the morning from a spoon with a little honey and it is, according to at least one doctor I know, the best of all treatments for depression. Also, I like its flavour.

Worth the money
I bought this for my wife and its worth the money,previously i bought it from India which was very very expensive i dint knew that Amazon sell this, after knowing through my friends i have ordered it through Amazon and i would recommend this product to the people out there to buy it as its worth the money.
