Can you use in a microwave?

Yes you can put them a microwave I do all the time if I let my coffee go cold so don,t think they are costly and you think they will break "they" won,t

Do these loose heat quicker than a ceramic cup or does the coffee stay hot?

The liquid stays hot longer, I purchased two at the time but one of them sadly cracked with the heat! 

Does an aeropress fit this cup? My other mugs are too "wide" at the top...

Hi yes a ryobi aeropress fits it fine. This is what i use all the time and a full aeropress will fill it to 1-2cm from the top

Is it quite thick at the rim of the cup? have a set of Bodum branded cups and they are very comfortable to sip coffee out of as its tapered.

They are normal top thickness the Base is incredibly thin. place it down too hard and it's history.not an everyday coffee cup too delicate but very light.as for drinking out of the top is too large or wide for your mouth coffee runs down the glass all the time .I will use mine til I brake them but will not replace with this particular model .I will buy the 330ml cups to give them a try different style.hope this helps.
