HTC U Play 32 GB SIM-Free Smartphone - Brilliant Black

Going from years of having an iPhone to this is very different. It is a very good phone. Camera takes some really good photos but does take a long time to focus. Also if using snapchat it is slow on focusing. The front camera I do find blurry all the time. I like how you can change the theme of the phone, the keyboards, have the apps where ever you want which is something the iPhone never offered. I'm really enjoying this phone so far and for the price I think it's excellent.

Worked for a couple of months, then the apps stopped working properly and soon after it became very unpredictable. Restored the factory settings three times as instructed by HTC, each time it worked again for a week or so then the same problems re-occurred. Eventually they took it in for 'fixing' but evidently they just restored the factory settings again because the same thing happened a week or so after we got it back. Now trying to get a full refund because it was definitely not fit for purpose. Absolutely rubbish. Don't bother.

You'd be better off spending the same amount of money on a brick... As in a builder's brick, because even that would be a trade up from this phone.I really liked HTC phones and have bought around 4 in my lifetime. Not one lasted over 2 years, and I was ok with that, but not 8 MONTHS! I got this one in around March/April and it has been a nightmare. In this time:- The front camera has stopped working... Like the front camera switch option has disappeared from all the apps - even the camera settings have front camera toggles greyed out- The phone glitches, freezes and stops. It then does not respond to any button pressed, until the glitch is over.- The battery lasts max. 6-7 hours. And don't count on the last 20% as it will shutdown anywhere from reaching ~20%. I have to charge around twice a day and it sometimes remains on the same percentage for an hour whilst on charge.As a genuine HTC lover, I am so disappointed in this product, and this experience has turned me away from your brand.

Good phone but the back is made of glass! Looks good for a couple of days but then looks a wreck after its first tumble.

A highly responsive phone with an excellent design. Set up is simple and the layout is such that one quickly gets the hang of it. The camera function deserves it's high recommendations, and so far I've no complaint over the battery life - one full charge has kept mine going for days.

Not sure if is new, even though is sell as new, box did not came with silver sealing, battery flat just after 4 hours. Send it back

The glass back seems to be a less durable glass than what's used on the front. Irregular battery behavior occurring way too soon after purchase. Audio output from speakers is far worse than with older HTC models.

Lovely phone but battery life disappointing.
