Well Done, You Listened to Your Feedback and Delivered an Excellent Pasta Maker
I read the reviews along with the claim by the makers that this machine had been withdrawn and rebuilt taking the views of Amazon customer reviews and ironed out all the problems. I didn't really believe the hype but for less than £18 I thought why not give it a try. Well all I can say is "WELL DONE WORLD OF FLAVOURS!" You listened, reacted and delivered a great piece of kit.Last year I ordered one of the more expensive pasta makers by one of the top makers but sent it back due to problems with sharp edges and flimsy clamp ........ None of this on this pasta maker all the edges have been smoothed off, the clamp works and fits standard work tops without causing damage. The design is good and the makeup is very sturdy (and heavy!!!). On opening the box and looking at the product I could see the quality, the chrome stainless steel look is good and the instructions are the same as the "better quality" machines not to use water just dry rub the surfaces to clean.I made ravioli for my first attempt using the basic recipe that came with the pasta maker, I removed the first 100gs of the dough and passed it through th maker using the 1-9 settings to clean away the oil on the rollers, I the attached the double cutters with ease and passed the pasta through them, again with ease, the handle and gearing was smooth and worked very well, I would have liked a wooden handle, as the handle does slip out occasionally and dropping on the tiled kitchen floor left me wondering how long the plastic handle will last, but that is a minor personal niggle.I took 200gs of the pasta dough and began to make the ravioli, I didn't know how thin this should be so went for no 7, this was just about right, I have a large ravioli cutter and I just placed the filling in the base placed another strip on top and cut ..... Perfect.I was left with 250gs of dough so froze that for a few days until I wanted pasta again, after defrosting the mix was revitalised by kneading and then passed through the machine to number 7 then passed through the fettuccine cutter, again excellent I dried these strands off on my wooden fettuccine/spaghetti tree. When ready I just boiled the water added a little dash of oil and cooked the fettuccine for 3 mins then added to the homemade sauce, it was excellent.I've only used the pasta machine twice but have no qualms in awarding five stars because it does what you want and the company delivered on the promises it made to the Amazon reviewers. So please forget all the earlier reviews on this Pasta Machine, as the new model delivers and I have no problems of recommending it to anyone. To me it was better than a model I had that cost more than double the cost of this machine.

Functional and Practical. What more could I want?
I bought this pasta maker before I saw all the negative reviews, and had I seen them, then I would have missed out greatly. My pasta maker maker arrived four days after I placed my order, and I have used it again and again since, with hardly any complications. The rollers work perfectly, and roll the pasta thinner than I ever could by hand. And when you eat pasta that's been rolled thinner than shop-bought pasta, it's rapturously tender. There is also an attachment included, which cuts the pasta into what I'd call Tagliatelle and Linguine. The pasta can be rolled from the widest thickness (No. 1) to the narrowest (No. 9), which takes it to the thinness of baking paper. I have used my pasta maker many times now, and encountered only two problems. The first is when making Cracked Black Pepper Pasta, whereupon crushed black peppercorns are integrated into the dough. Unfortunately, when I wanted to roll this dough very thinly, the pieces of pepper don't pass through the rollers, and tear the dough. I believe I can still lead a happy and fulfilling life without Cracked Black Pepper Pasta. The second problem happened the first time I ran a sheet of pillowcase-thin pasta through the Linguine attachment. Since it was so fragile, being cut so thinly resulted in the pasta falling apart, and becoming quite brittle. Linguine isn't very thin anyway, so should only be fed through the Linguine attachment when not drastically thin.I am thrilled with my pasta maker, and to anyone unhappy with theirs, I suggest you return it, and ask for one like mine.If you found this review helpful, then please vote so underneath.

Does exactly as it was meant to...
Read through the reviews before purchasing and found a lot of negative comments about rusting, being cheaply made, and breaking easily, but this wasn't what I experienced. The weight, robustness, and quality of the product are obvious when you take this out of the box. Made of stainless steel, I found no signs of rusting and made sure as I had seen evidence of it in previous reviews. I found it easy to use, value for money, and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to make their own pasta from scratch. The only criticism I have is that the method for fixing it to the worktop could be improved but nothing a hand on the opposite side to reinforce it won't fix.

Doesn’t work
I ordered this in June for my partners birthday, they went to use it for the first time and tubes did not turn. We took it apart to have a look what’s happened and one of the cogs was snapped. This was clearly done on manufacture as the broken part of the cog was not inside the machine. Faulty from the start. Contacted the company and they just said “we don’t sell spare parts”. Not good, do not recommend.

For Polymer clay it works
I bought this to use for my polymer clay, and its great, its easy to set up, easy to use, ok to clean, - the clamp came with rust spots, which I had to clean off with baking powder, no problem, but it really shouldn't come rusty.(I paid £15 for this , I feel that's as much as I would pay for this item)The base metal is a bit rough on the edges, so be wary of your fingers just in case you catch them on it.The hand crank doesn't fit securely in, so it has a habit to fall out when using, but again, for my own purposes this is not a huge deal. The pros still outweigh the cons for *me*I don't think this would be great if you were being serious about making pasta, but for crafting purposes with polymer clay its a cheap and viable option over some of the expensive polymer clay rollers.

Not great manufacturing
Lots of sharp, unfinished edges on the bottom of the roller housing. Did cut myself on one piece which is obviously not great.Does make pasta and rolls well. The spaghetti cutter blocks up very easily even with a well floured dough.
