Really pleased with this jug, solid, sturdy, thick glass, honestly looks like it would bounce, feels indestructible the glass is so thick. Looks like it can handle a good few knocks. Great value, quality jug. The measure is labelled well, very easy to read. Comfortable with nice handle. Looks good enough to leave out on the side. Won’t have to hide this one like the bean stained plastic ones 😊 Also, it came so well packaged! They did a lovely job of wrapping it. Thank you.

I bought a multicooker on Amazon, I love it, but when the food has cooked I have to transfer it to receptacles to go in the fridge. Enter Pyrex jugs. Dadah! Brilliant. 1 litre each. I’ve bought 2 for a start.

Most people have the 500ml Pyrex measuring jug - if they know quality. This 1 litre version is the same quality but larger, perfect for making soups etc. where larger quantities are required.

It looks good, measures volumes... It is not accurate for volumes below 200ml - get a smaller measuring jug for them. I tried filling this jug with 1L of water and pouring it out - it flows fine and without missing the target. I did not test it at high temperatures, but a couple of dishwasher cycles did not cause any harm. It looks like a convenient measuring jug to have - looks, feel, precision, all OK as expected. There is no scale for weight of flour or sugar, only metric and imperial volume units.
