I've been using the JASON all natural deodorant for a while and was never fully satisfied because eventually I always ended up less than spring fresh. My boyfriend was really convinced that "regular" deodorants are the way to go. I recently tried a tea tree oil based deodorant with the same results.BUT I'm happy to share that this Salt of the Earth deodorant stone t is truly effective! I put it on right out of the shower (which I do in the evenings), dry it off with my towel, and am completely odor-free all the way up to my shower the next evening. I read a review that said it isn't very effective just after shaving, but this has not been my experience. Perhaps it just depends on your skin? I don't know, but I'm very thankful to have found an all natural deodorant that actually works! I have made the switch to natural products due to my eczema and being more eco, this was inevitable the last on my list due to the underlining fear of being “stinky” all day. Well day 2 I’m amazed already! No itchy armpits! I’m clearly going through the detoxing stage and am having to clean and reapply lunchtime but I’m really impressed. It truly does work once on, no smell! I’ve accepted that it will take at least a month to get rid of the harmful chemicals and de-pore but so far I’m impressed. The slight smell I do get at lunchtime will lessen. It also helps to have a clean diet. So those who are struggling stick with it.My partner made the switch 20years ago, well before me and uses nothing, he never smells. They all do it on the Islands. You just need to detoxify and get your body back to neutral.So don’t fear, trust your body!

Being paleo I try to limit the amount of crap i put in my body, especially the junk that's in normal deodrants.I discovered this allum salt and its really an amazing product.Pros:1. Last forever! Ive been using this for about 4 months now every day (sometimes twice a day if I shower twice) and the crystal has only gone down a tiny bit!2. Incredible value for money! At this rate this £5 stick of crystal is going to last me 2 years+3. Its completely natural, i feel good every time i rub it under my armpits as I know this is just straight from mother nature4. It actually works!! Yep i workout most days and I dont smell, if i dont shower for a few days (something Im trying to do less and less) my armpits still smell fine.Cons1. This isn't really a con, but just to let you know, it doesn't actually stop you from physically sweating. It's not an antiperspirant. Because of this, if I get hot and sweaty my clothes will smell of sweat because there is no crystal salt on my clothes to kill the bacteria that causes the odor. So be careful about that, when your clothes dry up you may notice a slight BO smell but its nothing bad. Its what we men are meant to smell like. Embrace your Body Odur!That really is the only con. Dont go buying this product thinking you are going to smell wonderful like some synthetic Lynx concoction. This just simply stops the bacteria from breeding under your pits. So you might need some essential oils or something to add some fragrance.Or you can just spray some nice body spray on your clothes so you still smell nice but don't absorb any of the harmful chemicals yourself.SummaryThe best all natural, value for money product I have ever purchased.The ultimate Paleo body care product!

This was my first try with a non-aerosol deodorant, I have long thought it was a huge waste as I get through one every couple of weeks. The product arrives in a plastic housing which protects the salt, it would have been nice to see something not plastic. The product itself is easy to use but requires a bit of a change of routine as it needs to be applied to wet skin (or be wetted first). Once applied there is literally no scent although the product itself has a very slight (quite odd) odor. I've been using it a few weeks and it seems to have barley gone down so I expect it will last ages. I think next time I will get one with a slight scent or add a scent as it is a bit odd to literally have it smell of nothing! (However this isn't a negative as it clearly states unscented!)

For the last few months, I've tried a number of cruelty free and nasty free deodorants and hated them all. Salt of the Earth is the best of the bunch! Application is really easy, goes on smoothly, it's contained and dries instantly. Not like the creams that you have to rub in or the roll-ons that take forever to dry and remain sticky under your arms. You do have to wet your underarms, but I find it works best after a shower when your skin is still damp. It doesn't stain my clothes and it hasn't left any annoying white marks like regular deodorant. Odour wise, it's amazing. It's kept me odour free from the morning to the evening, in what is the hottest summer ever and on hot stuffy commuter trains. The others I tried had me reaplying mid-day, so needless to say I'm sold on Salt of the Earth! Definitely works for me.

I would wet it before applying it and, honestly, my armpits smelt of nothing the entire day. NOTHING. How can I smell of nothing?As much as I began the process in love with this product, it's as if my body got used to it, or exposure to the skin affected it, but the effect began to wear off and I had to stop using it altogether because it no longer 'deodorised' me. Heartbreaking.
