Really good
Grandson put this together and it was a nice activity and was a good buy.

Couldn’t be happier
My dad and little brother (aged 4) had a fantastic time making this. When they turned it on for the first time, my little brothers face lit up and he said “wow, that’s amazing” - also - very quick delivery

Really good idea, however it is VERY fragile - Nearly broke it before I got it out of the box to put it together! I thought the projection would be clearer, but really good for maybe younger children (that can be careful with delicate things)

Urrgh!
Bought as a present for a star loving friend. Total waste of money. I'm quite good at craft shiz, but the light leak due to the build design is horrendous and out shines the barely projected pin pricks that have no resemblance to stars even held close up. I didn't expect a glowing 3D holographic cosmos to burst into life but this was naff. ...I could have bought a nice book on stars or fuelled my car for a trip out star gazing for the night even. Hmm...

Tiny bit of science
The light is incredibly weak, and it killed the fresh batteries in a very short time. It was fun to build but it's a lot of materials to waste for an hour of activity.

A real learning experience for all of the family
Easy to set up and a great result when switched on. With the backing of the science museum you know that the details will be correct. And the display ..... you have to see it to realise how good it is.

Bought as a stocking filler, bit fiddly to put together as you have to pop out all the star constellations individually with a pin but worth it for the end effect

Prepare to build from scratch
We got this as a stocking filler for our son. This comes as two pieces of thin card and an electronic tea light, the cards are printed with Constellations which requires one to pierce each and every star with a knife or similar instrument - then comes the assembly, it fits together (just) but is very awkward. Now the most important bit - the operation of the globe… It has very little lume from the very small bulb, you can see the light Penetrating from it but only when in complete darkness. I cannot recommend this for a nightlight or educational tool unfortunately.

If you expect light projection from this, this will disappoint you
