Does the job perfectly
Good product it worked exactly as described, quick and efficient service, I would recommend and use again. I used the wheel to remove de-dals that had been on a trailer for about 7 years, it worked brilliantly on the normal lettering taking it straight off without any problem. The only problem was on the hi-viz yellow lettering where it struggled but this is previously acknowledged by the producers and is caused by the thickness of the lettering material. The wheel did not wear down as quickly as I expected, it fits nicely into a drill and saved me hours of hard graft and I would definitely use again. If you have a large area to clear or it is the reflective type lettering you would probably need 2 of these but they will save you hours of work and do not mark paintwork.

Astounding.
Having tried and failed to remove the stickers from my Skoda citigo by peeling them off, I tried using a hairdryer and plastic razor blades, which didn't impart enough heat so started to use a hot-air stripper. This worked but very slowly and took a day to remove the 1m sticker from the bonnet, but the adhesive was still left in the bodywork, which meant buying an additional liquid formulated to remove the adhesive. The roof and boot lid approximately approx 3 meters in length were left to do, but I did the research and this rubber wheel kept popping up in various articles. At,£18.99 it wasn't cheap but I was desperate to get the car stripped of all the transfers which were cracked and dull, it took 9 hours to fully remove the roof, rear spoiler and boot stickers, (And that's because you have to stop every 10 minutes to allow the wheel to cool) after a wash and polish with a buffing agent the car looked absolutely great.

Had great results with this once I got the technique right
Had great results with this once I got the technique right. I had a Fiat Scudo van which I put on autotrader with vinyl stickers on and found it was putting off buyers as they didn't want the hassle of removing them. After a day with a heat gun and ice window scraper I found this on amazon. Initially I found it was ineffective with a battery powered drill (makita) so got out the mains powered one and immediately delaminated a small section of paint because I wasn't moving the attachment quick enough so burnt through the paint. Following this I got the technique nailed and with speed and some pressure on the body of the van the vinyl and sticky residue came off with ease. Did the remainder of the van in an hour when it would have taken another two days with the heat gun. Well worth the money and sold the van two days later. He chipped me £50 for the 'paint blemish'

WORKS ON BOAT HULLS!
After buying a fibreglass boat that had a terrible name I deliberated for months over how to get rid of the decals. Most traditional methods seemed a pain and the stickers were baked on so I couldn't pick them off. My boat has a white GRP hull and I was really worried about marking it. Everyone I asked told me the best way to do it was with a hair dryer and scraper (but with the boat on a mooring and no power nearby I couldn't get a hair dryer plugged in close enough). I read about the Whizzy Wheel a while back and kept putting the job off as I was concerned there wasn't much evidence of it working safely on boat hulls (mostly cars). Eventually I cracked, bought a Whizzy Wheel, stuck it on a battery drill and sat in the dinghy alongside. Well, I can confirm to all boat owners that it works brilliantly. I have removed the names quickly and easily with virtually no residue left. Just needs a wipe with degreaser and a polish afterwards. If the names have been there for ages you may get a slight faded outline but its not that noticeable (far less than a bad name!) For some reason the manufacturers don't say much about boats and go on about car bodywork but this does work well on fibreglass hulls if you are careful. Make sure the surfaces are dry otherwise there's not enough friction and keep it moving to avoid too much heat build up. Just take it easy with medium pressure and the wheel flat against the surface. I was quite cautious so started the drill from very slow, just accelerating until the wheel started nibbling away the stickers. After a minute you find the best combo of pressure and speed. Don't forget to direct the rotation of the wheel against the edge of the stickers like you would picking it off with a fingernail. 10/10 (on white GRP - not tried on other colours but I think you would be ok) Just don't forget to rename your boat properly afterwards to avoid bad luck, lots of advice out there on the correct ceremony :)

Does what it says!
Removed 5 year old decals which I had been unable to remove with anything else. Heat gun had removed some decals but left behind glue that was impossible to remove with anything. This wheel removed the remaining stickers and all the glue. Excellent! It was quite hard work and took many hours, (over half a Toyoto Yaris covered in branding decals). My arms ached at the end, though that may be because I am a bit of a wimp not used to wielding a power drill for that long. The results were definitely worth it though, no sign of the stickers or glue and no damage to the paint work. I had to order a second wheel to complete the job.

Very enjoy
Very nice product, easy to use. Just dissatisfied how fast it wore down As I’ve more decals to remove still

Too expensive for how long it lasts
Bought this for £20 to remove glue and some decals from a small van, it does what its suppose to do however it doesn't last long before it wears out, I managed to remove 1 small patch of glue on the door, a small patch on the bonnet and rear doors and a large patch of glue on the side of the van before it reached its wear mark, leaving me another 2 small and 1 large patches of glue aswell as 3 small decals, the thing is it fetches the glue off no problem with one or 2 flicks over whereas the decals you have to work side to side so takes longer and uses more of the rubber to remove so I wasnt happy that it completely wore out from just removing glue. There's cheaper version of what is essentially just a rubber wheel on a shank for £4 and they're a solid rubber wheel so assume would last longer, I suggest anyone looking at this to go and check out the cheaper versions.

Be careful
Yes it works on metal bodies with paint. However lots of newer cars have painted plastics & other non metallic materials. Stay away as it’ll take the paint off. I found out the hard way.
