Good quality and good fit.
Bought this set to go with a Sherlock cape for World Book Day 2019. My son is 9 years old and has a big ole head, there was no chance the hat that came with the costume was going to fit him. This kit was a life saver. The pipe is sturdy and good for looking like you're in deep thought. The magnifying glass works well and helped me gross my son out with close ups of my eye ball and in my mouth and the hat fit on his lovely big head very well! All in all it was a good price, arrived quickly and is great quality.

Elementary
Cheap and cheerful fancy dress. Bought to mock someone who wrote his motorbike off when he hit a deer at speed (deerstalker). Thankfully he's ok, but the dear and his bike not so much.Just need to find a use for the magnifying glass and pipe now.

For the budding detective in your life, you could probably do a bit better than give them this Sherlock disguise for Christmas. Sadly, the hat is incredibly floppy, and the pipe was snapped where the stem met the bowl (thankfully I had superglue to hand; I can’t comment on the magnifying glass because it was nabbed by a family member before I could peer through it). I only bought this as a silly Christmas present whilst playing a Sherlock Holmes themed board game, so it wasn’t a problem. If you’re looking at purchasing for a fancy dress party, be wary - the quality is shabby.

The hat pipe and magnifying glass work well to a larger holmsian costume and look great, hat fits me nice and snug so a good size

Great for costume
My boyfriend dressed up as a detective for halloween and this was perfect for it. Great quality magnifying glass.Only thing was the deerstalker was on the smaller size, if his head was any bigger it wouldn't have sat properly on.

Decent quality for the price
I bought this as a wee accessory for when I’m playing 221B Baker Street with my wife. I was really just looking for the cheapest option, as this is just for a bit of a laugh.Having shopped around to find the best deal I’m really pleasantly surprised by the quality of this item for the money.Don’t get me wrong it’s not a premium item, the hat wouldn’t stand up to a massive amount of wear, the pipe is hard plastic as is the magnifying glass, but both look the part.The hat it somewhere between a child and an adult. I wear a 57’ hat and it’s a wee bit small on me, but still fits.The box of the magnifying glass was slightly damaged in transit, which was a tad disappointing.The game is afoot!
