SmartGames Ghost Hunters

Fantastic game. My son got bought one and since we’ve bought it for friends in his class. Feedback from parents is great. They can play it independently and it’s a bit like a puzzle solving Tetris. (One parent said they’ve been playing it when their kids asleep haha)

I can think if so many kids who would love this game. The challenges are not too difficult mostly, as it is directed at 5/6 and up. It is a very simple concept done in a very clever and engaging way. We all really enjoyed playing. It is a good game to start with before moving to more difficult one in the Smart Games catalogue.

We all enjoy this in our family, easy to understand and challenges are good. Only gripe is the flimsy cover on one side, its not the usual thick plastic that clips on like other games so we have to store this in its actual box, which makes it bigger to travel with.

Lovely puzzles for my nephew aged 6. He was able to work with cousins to figure out so not completely isolated. Will be good if he goes into self-isolation or if they must restrict their movements in coming weeks. Adults all enjoyed having a go too.

My son has spent hours playing this since Christmas. Perfect for a mind that's puzzle focused. My husband and I have even joined in on some of the harder puzzles. There are plenty of puzzles to attempt- even if you complete them all you could easily go back and do them again - you wouldn't remember the answer.

Good puzzler BUT very annoying when it comes to the cards and shape because there really is not enough space. The lids open and everything falls out. Wish there was a compartment for the cards thus leaving the shapes on one side of the board with the stronger lid.

Bought as Xmas present for my 6 years old and it was a hit. Lots of hours already spent on it. Well made and very good toy. Ghosts tame makes it even more fascinating. It increased our collection of SMART Games toys and we will be definitely buying more.

Got for the seven year old but the 45 year old likes it too.

Update- A little over a year later, and we STILL love this game! Our 5 1/2 year old can do all of the puzzle cards by himself if he tries, but it's still fun to do them as a 'ghost hunter team', we just take turns each placing a tile where we think it should go. The first few puzzle cards have some hints to help younger players know where to place tiles, then the hints lessen as you get higher up in the card numbers, and the last few have none making those cards the trickiest. And no matter how many times you play you never remember the correct tile combination on any particular card, so it's always like playing a new game. It really is an awesome alternative to screen time. And just a tip- the puzzle cards do all fit in the hardcase for storage while the tiles sit neatly on top, and there is a clear plastic 'lid' that goes over the top of the whole thing- however, the clear top doesn't click on to the hardcase so we just put a thick rubber band over the whole thing, and it keeps it all together and makes it perfect for tossing in a travel bag or keeping in the backseat for the kiddos. Still highly recommend this game, and any others by this brand! We've had this for one day, and it's already a favorite! Our 4yr old did the first 12 puzzles on his own, and then we did the next 8 or so together. There are over 50 puzzles, and they're all fun & engaging. Kids can work on them on their own, or you can do them as a family. All the puzzle cards fit inside their own little hardcase (which is perfect for travel), and the tiles sit on top. It's such a simple game, yet so strategic & fun! I highly recommend it to anyone with game or puzzle loving kids- or even for adults!

This has kept my kids, 4 and 6 busy while travelling and they love it. I just wish there was a way to clip the pieces down. There is just a flimsy piece of plastic to keep the small pieces in place so I've used a zip lock bag to keep everything together but it would've been great if it had a top that could clip shut. That aside, it's been a great purchase.

I’m really happy with this purchase! It’s fun and challenging for ALL ages. It’s a great quality puzzle and the puzzle itself is a case which holds the pieces. It’s easily transportable, interchangeable and time consuming. It really makes you think and problem solve. This would be perfect for road trips or rainy days! And the puzzle images are just so cute!

It's a cute game with enough challenges to keep kids entertained. Excellent quality too.

This game is nice and compact, making it easy to travel with. The puzzles offer a variety of challenge levels from the very easy to quite difficult. It is suitable for all ages. The case, and pieces are sturdy. The cards are durable, but I wouldn't say they are heavy duty. I would buy this again without hesitation.
