L'Oreal ParisHydra Genius Liquid Care Moisturiser Sensitive Skin, 70 ml

I'm really happy with this moisturiser and I honestly didn't expect to be! I've been using the body shop Aloe range for nearly 2 years, I have very dry but sensitive skin and honestly anything from a brand like this usually does NOTHING for my skin. I had run out of my old favourite and the price was a bit much for how often I was running out. So I figured why not give this a go? For £5 it was worth a try.I've been pleasantly surprised, my skin feels lovely and smooth, there are no dry patches and it feels very hydrated!The smell is lovely, not perfumed or heavy. And it doesn't linger on your face like some do!I love the gel over cream, great choice for me as I hate heavy feeling creams that are greasy (though admittedly they are usually better for your skin) so this gel like one is perfect! It soaks in fast, feels sleek and water based. I get no tacky feeling after and can apply make up within a few minutes.1 pump as well, a tiny amount, and believe me it goes a long way! I think this will last me quite a while, so points for longevity. I use 1 for my face and 1 for my neck because I like to be extra hydrated, and allow it to soak in.If you have sensitive dry skin this has been fantastic for me, very happy with my purchase and when it eventually runs out (I've barely made a dent!) I will certainly be buying another.

I use hydra genius aloe water every morning. Its smells lovely and fresh, a real aqua smell. Nice and zingy to wake up to. My make up sits well on top of this as it absorbs quickly and makes a good base for foundation. No shine or greasiness. Very comfortable on the skin, feels like a real spa like treat.

L’Oréal really do give high end companies a run for their money. This is a beautiful cream. I use it as a serum then add L’Oréal moisturiser on top, my skin is silky smooth.

I was sceptical, however, this product is quite good. You get a lot of product for the price too so great value for money. I did purchase at a discounted price which is in my price range and I was very happy to pay that for this product. A little seems to go a long way too so it will last which is great. Often I find products are overly priced and a small amount. So very happy with the value for money. It has a strong scent which I would describe as a more masculine scent (Like when you have kissed a boyfriend and his aftershave rubs off onto your skin and lingers hehe) but it is a pleasant Smell and potent enough it lasts Quite a while through out the day and gradually fades It isn’t as strong after a few hours or after other products are applied on top. It is not a sticky formula or watery and glides nicely on to the skin and is easy to rub in. It absorbs quite quickly too, so you are not left with a sticky feeling, leaves the skin feeling Fresh and posh haha. I Have not noticed any immediate results with wrinkle reduction or anything like that but maybe time will tell with longer use? It is non greasy and if you lightly exfoliate your face before you apply I found it works well and gives extra softness, does not sting like some products do to sensitive skin and does give you a little glow.

I'm on my third bottle of this I simply love it. I have very dray skin and this really helps n lasts. I use just 3 small pumps rub into my hands then rub on face and neck. When my face feels dry again I put on more. A very light cream feels great on the skin and doesn't affect my sensative eyes. I will continue to buy this I very much recommend it and a good price. I took it in hospital all the nurses were trying it too and bought it them selves x

I have sensitive, fussy skin, prone to breaking out if it dislikes something I apply.Typically the thicker creams that I need aren't well tolerated and I my skin refuses to absorb the products but keep them on top, clogging my pores and creating redness and itchy skin.I have tried serums with varying success because if they are oil based my skin will reject it, so I'm left with trying anything else in-between.I wanted a hyaluronic based cream to assist with my aging skin but it needed to be lightweight and gentle to stop reactions.Fortunately I stumbled across this cream in a search and was impressed that it contained hyaluronic acid and Aloe vera, two of the things I need!It is a liquid moisturiser so you don't need a lot and the pump dispenses a good amount for half your face/neck.I tend to use three pumps because my forehead/hairline is very unhappy and skin is just flaking off in clumps so I pay more attention to that area.It doesn't need working in I use a few circular motions on my cheeks, my T zone gets its own attention and my chin/neck I apply in swooping up motions towards my ears.I find it absorbs quickly, it doesn't sit on my skin at all. It smells nice (like Aloe) but not so fragranced that my skin rejects it. I used to spritz aloe water on my face and this has the same refreshing feel.The bottle and package aren't over the top and the bottle feels substantial as it's glass. You can see the amount going down and it's pretty slow, I've had mine nearly 5 weeks and there is probably a little finger width gone (approx 1.5cm) so it's going to last a while, I might even start using it on my décolletage area.I've already purchased another one for my mum but in the dry/normal version and she's enjoying using it too, so that's a great endorsement for the over 40s and over 60s!

I was looking for a more budget friendly hydrating product to replace my once favourite vichy 89 (my skin stopped tolerating it after they added the prebiotics) and this one didn’t disappoint. A lovely surprise actually! Hydrating, light texture, non sticky. The smell though is very chemical but wears off quickly.
