Sturdy, reliable, and brilliantly easy to use
I recently bought the IRWIN QUICK-GRIP Mini Clamp to help with a few DIY woodworking projects, and it’s been a brilliant addition to my toolkit. If you need a lightweight but strong clamp for smaller jobs, this one’s a must. The build quality is immediately apparent. The clamp feels robust but light, with a tough resin body and steel reinforcements where it matters. It’s designed to be easy to handle one-handed — perfect when you’re juggling materials or positioning workpieces. Using the clamp is wonderfully intuitive. The trigger mechanism allows for quick, precise adjustments — just squeeze the trigger and the jaws tighten smoothly onto your material. It grips very firmly without requiring a huge amount of effort, making it ideal for delicate woodworking, gluing projects, or securing parts while you drill. One of my favourite features is the soft pads on the clamping surfaces. These protect the workpiece from marring or slipping, even on softer woods like pine or MDF. I’ve used it on painted surfaces too with no marks or dents left behind. Despite being labelled a "mini" clamp, it’s surprisingly strong. The clamping pressure is more than enough for holding glued joints or small frames together while they set. It’s great for hobbies like model making or craftwork as well. The quick-release button is another brilliant feature. Press it once and the jaws open smoothly without fighting or struggling, saving a lot of time when repositioning. If I had to suggest one minor thing, it’s that the 150mm (6") capacity is a bit limiting for very large projects — but IRWIN make larger versions if you need more reach. Overall, the IRWIN QUICK-GRIP Mini Clamp is strong, reliable, and incredibly user-friendly. Perfect for home DIYers, hobbyists, or anyone who needs a quality clamp for precision work. Highly recommended!

They are sturdy, easy to use, and capable of meeting your needs.
The Irwin Quick-grip g-clamps are a solid option for those who enjoy woodworking or metalworking, whether they are professionals or just DIY enthusiasts. These clamps are designed to deliver a secure grip and can be easily operated with one hand. One of the notable features of these clamps is their durability. They are made from high-quality materials that are strong enough to handle heavy use and can last for a long time. Additionally, the quick-release trigger makes them effortless to adjust. Another advantage of these clamps is their fair pricing and value for money. They are reasonably priced and offer excellent quality and durability without breaking the bank. Overall, if you're in search of reliable clamps that can accommodate various tasks and offer good value for money, the Irwin g-clamps are a viable option to consider. They are sturdy, easy to use, and capable of meeting your needs.

Easy to use but are a little fragile
I purchased a set of these clamps in May 2022 and since then haven't used them much until recently. Overall, they are decent clamps and secure whatever is within their range pretty well. However I have just used one set and wanted to adjust one of the clamps to find that the trigger just fell out of the housing along with two small plastic pins. Obviously without the trigger, the clamp just doesn't work and no matter what I tried, I cant get the pins and trigger back in place, even using glue to hold the pins in. It doesn't help that the actual housing is not built to dismantle. I suppose nothing lasts forever and for the cost, I cant complain.

Quality and price is fine!
Very impressed with these. I had had some large clamps of similar design for years made by Wolfcraft and the quality of them is amazing. However, I wanted some small clamps for odd jobs where the gap isn't much of a problem. These from Irwin suited a treat and although not quite the quality of my Wolfcraft I'm sure they will be fine with a 63kg pressure test, more than I will want. Only tested so far on scraps of timber, but they work fine and I'm very happy with the price.

Essential small multipurpose clamps.
These are a superb pair of Irwin small clamps which operate faultlessly clamping and release. They can apply a good amount of force to the workpiece and due to their smaller size are easy to work around. I like the premium soft covers on the jaws which prevent marking items being clamped and are way better than other plasticky ones I've seen.

Surprisingly good for the money, ideal for clamping a track for a circular saw
With a recent surge in the urge to DIY, I needed to get clamping; not wanting to spend too much, I gave these puppies a go. I've used them mostly to clamp my saw track to wood so that I can use my circular saw to do accurate cuts without wandering; to do this the clamps need to securely hold the track to the wood without movement. Despite being inexpensive, I have found that they clamp really well, and are easy to use. So much so, I'll likely buy some more, as two is handy, four would be better and six for good measure...

Awesome, like all Irwin kit
Bought three pairs of these now and, like all Irwin kit, they've been awesome. Used them a lot and, not only are they super easy to tighten and slacken off, they are sturdy and hold more than looks possible from the size. Also, sitting tight on the edge of my workbench they take up no space and even look cool.
