One Piece: Movie Collection 2 [DVD]

Any OP fan will know that it is hard to watch most of these movies online etc so if you really want to watch these I’d definitely recommend buying these as they are really enjoyable movies and a bit of a nostalgia trip

Outstanding a must have for anyone who likes the one piece series.

The second collection of One Piece movies is a far cry from the first: Firstly, these movies are all feature length (averaging a high 90 minute mark, contrasting the TV special length of the previous 3 at 50 minutes.) Secondly, these feel more like movies, the others could be TV episode specials, these were movies and ones worth a watch:[SPOILERLESS]Dead End Island is a fabulous One Piece story, with bounty hunters, giants, fishmen and corrupt marines you can't get more One Piece; however what this movie does brilliantly is pirates. It's a silly thing to say on a series all about pirates yet we rarely get to see cannon fights and good old sword clashing with no fancy over the top powers (not that I'm complaining when we get that.) All in all it's an excellent movie and the starting sequence is amazing.The Holy Cursed Sword feels less One Piece like than movie 4; in this movie we meet Saga - an old friend of Zolo's from his childhood. It suffers from a problem which movie 1 suffered now the series is so far. The people are just so weak. Just as it was unbelievable that Wonnan took a 1/3 of the worlds gold and then only had a 60 million berri bounty in movie 1, it's also unbelievable that the stakes in this movie were so high yet defeated by a pre-timeskip Straw Hat crew. It's not a bad movie, however it misses the mark.Baron Omatsuri is- it's hard to fathom it into words except WOW. It's not One Piece like you've seen it before. It's dark, the animation is so foreign to the series, the animation so different to those before it and it's dark. It's very dark when you truly read inbetween the lines. I can see why this set got a 15 rating as movie 6 deserves it. We see Luffy at a real low like never before and the saddest villain backstory I think the movies - and certainly rivals the manga - have ever produced.All in all this collection is different to the first, that's for sure YET they're still One Piece. It's completely worth a watch to experience this for yourself!

We had to change our location to watch some of the movies but they were still good entertainment.

And just like mentioned in my previous review for the One Piece Movie Collection 1-3--> [For those of you buying these DVDs in the United States: These DVDs won't work on U.S. DVD players or laptops (If your laptop is new it may switch region types maybe 3 times, but you have to be careful your laptop doesn't permanently stay in an outside region dvd player mode, so I don't suggest you play these on your U.S. laptop. I bought an ALL MULTI Region DVD player (I bought this version: "Philips All Multi Region Free HDMI 1080p DiVX DVD Player Remote Control") and an HDMI cable to watch these DVDs and all of them worked wonderfully. "]

One Piece comme on l'aime ! Un animé qui ne mourra jamais tellement il prend au tripes ! J'ai commencé cet animé en bouquin il y a 7 ans et je n'en décroche toujours pas à ce jours !

I had to get a new dvd player. One that supports region 2. But the movies all work! I was a bit disappointed that they don't have English dubs though.
