Beautiful evocative scent
Well presented with a good amount in the pot. When using charcoal do not add the incense until the charcoal is white. This leaves a long lasting and strong perfume. I use this daily and only a tiny amount is needed. Excellent quality

Review from experienced bakhoor user
For beginners - you need either an electric burner or a traditional burner that uses coal. Electric burner just turn it on and put your bakhoor on the hot part. If you're using coal - you MUST light it properly. This means, once it's lit put it on the burner and leave it alone for 15-20 mins to form a layer of ash. This is very important and without doing this literally all bakhoor just smells like rancid burnt wood. The layer of ash works as a diffuser, so the wood burns much slower allowing the fragrance to release before burning to a crisp.I call this one my old faithful. I've used a huge range of bakhoor from cheap to much higher end (I have a website selling different bakhoors myself, and also hand make traditional bakhoor) and this is one I like to have often. It's interesting enough to not be boring, but not so "out there" that it will really offend anyone so fine for guests. It's normally around £10 in shops, so £10 on prime (right now it's £8.22) is a great deal. Another great Nabeel one is Nasaem (the red pot.) This is even more classic and even less likely to offend anyone, a real stereotypical (in a good way) scent of the middle east. Many people love these two so much it's the smell that introduces them to bakhoor and makes them interested and want to buy some. For anyone else who's tried it in the past I will say I think it's they've got more generous and have a few more larger wood pieces in this pot are much bigger than I've had in previous years.Keep in mind this is a really cheap bakhoor in the grand scale of things. Burn time of pieces is pretty short and scent isn't overly strong and doesn't have much longevity. Don't expect one burner and a few chips to perfume your entire home very much. You'll smell it around the place when it's burning but it won't last very long. If you have a larger home and want a long lasting strong smell, use a burner upstairs and downstairs at the same time or if it's a flat then one near the front of the house and one near the back. For anyone without much experience - as bakhoor literally is perfumed wood, it ALL smells like perfume for a while then at the end mostly just of burnt wood. You'll find this with even extremely expensive bakhoor. It's normal and trust me people who visit soon after its burnt won't really smell burnt wood and will mainly just smell the nice perfumed scent. Especially if you prepared your coal properly. For people who like to smoke their clothes with bakhoor this one isn't really a good option to use. Leaves a weird slightly cat wee smell on fabric. But it you're new to bakhoor, trust me this is what you're hoping it will smell like ✌🏽 enjoy
