Stanley FatMax Folding Chisel

Very handy to keep in you're pocket for when you need a chisel there and then I've had I'm on my third one because I like them the first 2 got heavily abused but still functional

Bought this even after reading some not great reviews for it, but must say I like it, it's got a place in my toolbox and I'm pleased with the usage I've had from it already. Its foldable as described, heavy duty plastic handle and good size blade, was sharp on purchase and after initial use it sharpened easily with my stone. I like quirky style tools.

This a great bit of kit to have around. It is NOT a chisel for cutting joints and such like but great for doing all those things you shouldn't use a chisel for but still do. I've trenched out plaster, scraped glue, and mastic, notched out beams and so much more. It's a great thing to chuck in your tool box and for it to be there when you need it. Just don't try and cut dovetails with it.

Great for a convenient chisel to keep in your pouch. Folding handle takes a hammer strike well with a good positive lock. Down side is it had to go on the stone straight out of the packet as the bevel was in a mess.

Been really good, fits into the tool bag without worrying about the blade or catching fingers. Have had no issues with the handle. Having now used the chisel for over a month now I have to say that is the best Chisle I have owned. Is it the best quality: No but due to the way that it folds it is is the sharpest I have ever owned as it is always protected and also safe.

Handy to have in your pocket at work, good value and well made
