Great once in place, impossible to get perfectly level due to locking mechanism
It’s vortex, lifetime warranty and all that. Great choice! But this product is a letdown. You set it up nice and straight but when tightening the locking screw it pulls it out of alignment which makes getting it level almost impossible. Can’t recommend :(

A must have accessory when shooting long range precision (800-1500 yards) with a swivel bipod or rest. I considered a rail mounted level, but a bit of research convince me that a scope mounted level is the way to go. The Vortex bubble went on easily enough. but I did have to remove my Sightron SIII 6-24x scope to install it. If you use medium or high rings, you may not have to remove your optics. If your build uses Low or XL rings, you can pretty much count on scope removal and a re-zero. After that you should be good to go. I installed the level in back of my front Seekins Precision ring with the bubble on the left side of my Savage 110 FCP .338 Lapua. My only complaint is that the recoil of my Lapua loads would occasionally leave the bubble broken in two about 10% of the time, a minor annoyance that required one or two finger taps to resolve, as I tend to re-level after every shot. 300 Win Mag users will likely run into the same issue. Otherwise, very nice...solid build with very good fit and finish. Wish the screws were black, but permanent magic marker can be used to satisfy shooters with OCD.
