and also for things like loosening a too tight lock mechanism
Lovely, tiny, effective lead sharpener, which collects the lead dust to protect your other tools from all that black and messy detritus. Slide the top across to expose the hole in which to twist the lead until it is sharpened. Doesn't seem to give an ultra sharp point, but effective enough for most purposes.I usually remove the lead from the pencil before sharpening, as then I can tell how much pressure I'm putting on it, to avoid breakage. You can also keep the sharpenings as an art material, as you can buy powdered graphite for various art purposes, and also for things like loosening a too tight lock mechanism. Who knew! There may be sharpeners which give a better point, but I haven't seen one so effective in keeping the dust inside.

Well made little lead sharpener with swivel lid - no mess!
Well packaged (proper padded post bag with clearly laid out invoice and a little thank you note inside), delivered on time. I was surprised at how small the lead sharpener is, seems smaller than it looks in the photo (at approx 2 x 4cm, the sharpener, not the photo). I would have preferred a different colour combination but the deep burgundy doesn't bother me too much. Sounds strange but feels nice in the hand. The sharpener works very well and the swivel lid keeps the powdery shaving inside the holder securely - no mess. You'd know what I mean if you've used sharpeners without a holder (space saving but messy) and the ones with a holder but no lid (false sense of security but as soon as the sharpener is tipped then powdery lead spills everywhere). Very happy with my purchase and with the seller. Not sure how long the blade with stay sharp but seems to be going strong. Would order from seller again and would highly recommend the the sharpener.

The best lead sharpener ever !
This sharpener is small, but it works amazingly well. The point it produces after 1 or two twists is dart sharp, much better than the built in variety found on mechical pencil lids. The container holds all debris well and is easy to use.The only niggle is the size, you have to look after it well, as it could become easily lost, but then again it fits in any pocket, so great portability. You won't regret buying a product as good as this!

The best 2mm sharpener
I use 2mm pencils a lot and I've tried every sharpener going, but this one is by far the best.

Nice and small
Excellent, as it's usual with Uni products.Closes firmly and provides a great long point. Tiny, so great for the pencil case.

Gets jammed with lead and unusable
It's a really nice looking thing, and the first few times I used it it was very smooth and quick to sharpen my clutch pencil but then it started breaking off the tip of my lead and it would get jammed inside the blade area, making it unusable.I managed to get the lead out a couple of times with much banging and shaking but now it is permanently jammed in there. I am a student and I used it for about two days before it completely stopped being usable. Apparently there are no refunds or returns on used items. Would not reccomend, even tho its cheaper than the usual clutch sharpener, its not worth it and it won't last

Disappointing
Although I like the size of this sharpener I found the blade didn't cut well on some leads. There was no logic to it. It had a problems with varying types from B to 5B where the lead just turned but didn't get sharpened. I took the whole thing apart - it's not difficult which is a bonus - and cleaned it out but it didn't help. Maybe I'll try changing the blade if i can find one that will fit.
