Your personal roadie
Although a few in the guitaring community cry foul over such technical wizadry as the Roadie Tuner, it really is very cool. Learning to tune by ear is a nice thing, but its inexact and something few people do (just look at the number of tuner pedals on the market). Tuning up fast and accurate is a far more appealing option.The Roadie Tuner works with the Roadie app (on iOS and Android). You must first calibrate the device to work with your guitar. This is easy enough to do, though I will offer these tips, for acoustic guitars try setting the "quiet" level all the way left (its most sensitive). For electric guitars this isn't too much of an issue as the device comes with a guitar jack adapter.After this initial calibration you're all set to go round each string and tune in quickly, and most importantly, accurately at any time. Re-stringing in particular is faster than ever. This is because of the Roadie's wind/unwind function for quick stringing, coupled with its fast tuning.The Roadie works with bluetooth. A notoriously flaky thing, but as the device doesn't need to "pair" to connect, it works much smoother than I thought.The only downside I can see for the Roadie is the need for the app. I believe the Roadie 2 is in the works to operate without the need of the app, but in the meantime its necessary. Its not too much of an issue as I normally have my phone near me, plus the app does allow you to save different tunings.I'm very happy with the Roadie. I had some communication with Band Industries and they were very helpful with my query. I will keep an eye out for the Roadie 2 on Amazon.

Very good - but only for six stringed guitars
This is an amazing little gadget which seems to work by magic. I have a number of guitars, acoustic and electric, and this has made it really easy to tune all but one of them. As long as there are only six strings to tune, the RD100 works very well indeed - but ask it to help with a 12 string and it is very unhappy. My 12 string dreadnaught is now a 10 string so I won't be making that mistake again.

Not very accurate and you spend more time updating software
Want to use your tuning device? Well, just register with us over and over or you cannot use it.When you get it working it sort of works. But you find every time you want to use it, it wants to call home and needs yet another software wasting your time.I ended up deciding that internet of things are terrible. I put it in the bin and bought a £5 tuning device, that more works far more accurately and is powered by a tiny battery and me turning the tuners accordingly.Don't waste your time or money.

Brilliant piece of kit managed to tune both my guitars in minutes totally ideal for gigging the electric guitar accessory just plugs into your headphone socket on the phone and into your guitar jack and auto senses your strings. On the app you have drop d tuning etc I can't fault the roadie at all makes restringing a guitar a breeze

Essential Guitar Tool
I got my Roadie Tuner last week and it's great. What a brilliant idea and really neat design.I love gadgets so I was instantly attracted the Roadie Tuner but, it's more than just a gadget, it is genuinely useful and works very well.The app is very easy to use and also works really well.I have a number of guitars and it's really helpful to be able to keep track of them individually in the app. Knowing when they were last restrung and having the ability to define custom tunings for them is so helpful. Having all this information in my pocket is just mind-blowing.Well done Band Industries.

Great Product and Fantastic Customer Service
Brilliant gadget really accurate, especially love the ability to have multiple tuning set up. Just to mention the back up service as well. I lost the cable for connecting to the jack socket on the guitar and the fabulous team at Band Industries sent me a new one free of charge from Australia to the UK!!!!! Now that's what you call Customer Service!!!!

Wish i could play as well good as the tuning possibilities.
It works well bit fiddly to setup so could have some disadvantages as it is hi tech associated. But well pleased with the tuning. It is used on a Gibson G type, Les Paul Type,Jazz type and acoustics as well. Wish i could play as good as well as the tuning possibilities.
