Is a must for all Boats/Campers!!!
This bilge/underbelly heater is the best on the market, hands down!!! While I was full-timing in a camper, I worried about my pipes freezing, so I purchased this heater. We had some single digit days in TN this past winter, and my pipes never did freeze with this thing going. It has a powerful fan (which you will hear, a low hum) that pushes the warm air throughout the entire underbelly. I typically don't feel safe leaving a heater plugged in, but when it has as many safety features as this does, I slept like a baby!Yes, I know it's expensive...but so is fixing a busted engine block, or putting new plumbing in a camper. Buy the heater, it's one of the best investments I made!

Keeps it warm
Works great for a boat here in the south so you don't have to winterize it. Just drain the water out of the block, place the heater in the bilge by the motor, and plug in.

Just in the nick of time
Our RV garage in winter is typically 47 degrees of above. We store our 21’ boat in garage and this year we did not winterize it assuming the temperature would remain above freezing.Prior to going on a weeks vacation I checked the garage temperature gave and it was at 35 degrees with the temperature dropping. I checked the boat’s engine compartment and the engine was right around 34 degrees. I wrapped the engine in a large blanket and put a floor radiant heater on the floor near the engine and outdrive area.My wife did a quick search on Amazon and we found this heater. Amazon delivered it in two days, just in time as the deep freeze hit. I set it up in a safe spot in the engine compartment and plugged it in. I disconnected the portable heater. OMG, the temperature in the engine compartment came up to 60 degrees in about 2 hours. I checked on it for the next two days prior to leaving on vacation and it was keeping the engine compartment at 55-60 degrees. The outside temperatures during the following two days were a low of 14 and high of 24. The heater did its job as designed. I just checked it after 1 week and the green light is back on and the heater off. The temperature in the engine compartment is a comfortable 60 degrees. Note, our temperatures in winter seldom get into the 20’s and usually are mid thirties and above. I would never have suspected our RV garage to dip as cold as it did. After living here since 2003, I was surprised at this extreme weather pattern. This product is excellent. It’s rugged, easy to set up and durable. I know this heater saved my boat engine from freezing. Money well spent.

Warm and toasty!
We bought this heater to put in the engine compartment of our 25 foot tritoon. Prior to using this heater, we just put 2 light bulbs in the compartment which typically produced just enough heat. However, after an unusual cold snap, our light bulbs didn’t do the trick and our engine block cracked. We spent upwards of $15,000 in repairs! I ordered this heater over a year and ago and it has kept our engine compartment warm! Wish I had purchased it sooner!

Worked great in the freezing temperatures

Well built
I had different Expectations, it does work as advertised, but definitely for a smaller space. Tried it in my rv under belly area and seemed like i need the larger model. Built very well

Just Plain Works
It does exactly as it says it does. It heats the bilge area just enough to keep from freezing. It’s reasonably small (400w) and appears to be made very well. Acceptable hmmmmm when it’s running and so far has kept the bilge from freezing during a week of some 20 degree weather. I might get another for a Waverunner bilge and engine area.

My second boat heater
This is my second Xtreme heater the first one lasted 10 years and was working fine when I sold the boat. I purchased this one a couple of weeks ago and it tested all Ok right out of the box. It is set in the hold of my 27PC Formula and I expect many years of service from it. I recommend xtreme heaters to any boat owner.
