Great
I have eaten military MRE and to be honest had mixed opinions, so I was sceptical at these relatively cheap meals compared to the other mre prices. I had sausage and beans cold and was fine with them, but for this I simulated camp cooking and boiled this for 8 minutes, using the boiled water for tea . i sat to eat. the portion size is just right to fill me witout the usual post meal heavy feeling. I was dubious about the taste as most pre prepared tikka masala tend to over do the heat, but this had enough flavour to be interesting without creating acid burn. some have mentioned these are expensive, well yes they are if your eating at home, BUT if your backpacking for say a week, the weight difference between 7 of these and 7 lots of ingredients for the same meals, the limited trash to carry, the lack of pan and plate cleaning, if the worst happens then the ability to eat cold and the fact they cost at least half the price of others and a third of similar military meals makes them value for money. i have ordered more and with a shelf life of 3 years or more I Intend stocking up. update: sadly it seems these meals have spawned a monster, LOL, i decided to let my mother try them, at 86 she has a small appetite, BUT , she now sees the whole range as alternative meals for when she is peckish hungry, i was alarmed at the cost until I compared them to certain tub meals, a 7 day set of these could cost as little as £42 able to be eaten cold or heated, even microwaved at a push. ALL tasty compared to a well known pot meal to your door, where 7 days cost £40, heated eat microwave only and from personal experience tasted from bland to edible and contained similar or less. oh and have a 12 month shelf life, these have hit her spot and due to 3yr shelf life and compact size, I am going to have to bulk buy, wonder if wayfarer do bulk offers lol.

Taste ok. Festival breakfast.
Brought 2 breakfasts for a festival and they were ok. Tastes a bit like sausage and beans from a can with a few extra bit in but was fine for what I needed. Heats up in hot water so you just need a pan. Saves washing up if you do it that way.

Great for Duke of Edinburgh
My daughter recently took this on her D of E expedition and says this one was her favourite. Great that they can be eaten hot or cold.

Yummy!
I love these meals when on a camping trip. They're simple to prepare (just boil them in water for a few minutes on your stove and eat straight from the bag if you want). Great on a cold morning hot (or you can eat them cold if you need to). They're really, really tasty and set you up for the day ahead. They're slightly heavy if you're carrying a lot of them in your backpack as they're not dehydrated so if you're doing a long trip you might want to think of some alternative options..

Quiet pricey for the amout of food you get.
These are ideal for winter hikes to get a bit of warmth into you. They taste ok but can get a bit messy. Also for what they cost the portion size is quiet small. The only advantage I can see to using the boil in the bag is you get some hot water left over to make either a tea or coffee with.
