OXOGood Grips Dustpan & Brush Set

Love it! Excellent quality as always from OXO Good Grips. The broom attaches to the handle of the dustpan and they can stand up together which is great for our rented flat, as we're unable to put a hanging hook in the wall. The "teeth" in the dustpan is great for combing through the brush to tease out hairs and dust. The whole thing is light,but very sturdily made. Very very pleased with my purchase!

The quality justified the extra cost (& even then it's not much more than the Ch***se rubbish here so a bargain!). This upright sweeper is so good, such excellent quality and does a perfect sweep up! I rarely use the vacuum on my wood floors now, this does the job in a fraction of the time it takes to get the vacuum out. What I love about this is that there the dustpan goes flat to the floor i.e. it's completely flat to the floor so no gap where rubbish/dust misses the pan), every scrap of dust & general muck actually goes IN the dustpan, unlike others where the dustpan doesn't sit flat and your rubbish goes underneath the dustpan, which kind of defeats the object of using an upright dustpan and brush!! What I love about this is the dust guard, where you draw your brush over it to get the dust off and then into the pan. It's so far above the rest that I now have 3! One in the kitchen, one in my art room/sewing room/study and the 3rd for our French home. Love this, there is no better one on the market. Buy!

I'm in my 40s with a toddler, my back is under constant pressure, so wanted this to save a bit of bending in my life. To that end this product does the job exactly as required. I've owned a few OXO products, and all have been great quality, and this is no different, the brush and pan are very effective. I've had cheap dustpan sets, where the lip of the pan just blocks smaller bits going in, not with this. Really does work well, but there is one flaw...There's a bracket that allows you to click together the two products for storage, the pan tills up as well and it makes it great for slotting into a cupboard. But this bracket is crazy tight, and it hasn't eased up with use. At first it didn't bother me because as said, I thought it was because it was new, but had this a while now and it's still just as bad., As a result it's become really annoying, and sometimes you catch your knuckles because you need to exert so much force, when it does unlick suddenly, your hand catches, giving an ouch! moment. I've got better at avoiding this now, but I shouldn't need to worry about it. For us it's just annoying, but I can see for some that have weakness for whatever reason, be it age, or aliment, this is going to be a real issue.That is why I give this 3 stars, it sounds minor, but for something we use regularly to mop up toddler mess, it just becomes exceptionally annoying to have to pry apart these two things, and putting them back together also requires more strength than it should.It's a great product let down by a silly flaw.

I'm a fan of this brand anyway, but this is such a great value product with extremely high quality. It neatly folds away. Looks good and sweeps really well. Lightweight and brush gets into all the corners.

I love OXO products. This is perfect for the kitchen. There is not a crumb it leaves behind. Super fine bristles and easy to hold and use. It's also a good worktop brush - you might need bigger for major floor and garden spills.

Overall very good.Plus points:- The brush is dense so catches all within its given dimensions rather than letting bits pass through. 1 pass rather than several will suffice.- The pan is flush with the ground so no more annoying bits passing under the pan like my previous set.- The comb on the pan is a great feature for long hair, and the comb is robust making it easy to use compared to other models which were less efficient.- The clip secures the two together solidly.Negative points:- The handle on the pan is at a fixed angle. I am accustomed to units that have variable angles so this is more of an observation. Is it a problem? Not really. Just calls for a slight adjustment to sweeping practices.- The handle is short. Take a look at the dimensions before your purchase. If you are over 6ft, have a bad back, a large floor to sweep and don't want to be stooped over sweeping then this isn't the brush set for you.- The width of the brush is not as wide as previous brushes I have used, so another reason to properly look at the dimensions prior to purchase. If you have a large floor area to sweep, then the narrower brush head may not be the best choice for you.So overall, a good tool for smaller areas and people of average heights or below.

While it looks cute, I found the opening of the 'pan' is too small so that crumbs don't always land inside it when you brush them in. The pan doesn't have a handle on it either, so it's hard to know how to hold it when in use or how to store it when not in use.
