I bought it for descaling my Delonghi Magnifica S.I prefer a product that is eco friendly but effective.This works a treat and doesn’t have any unpleasant odour,and it doesn’t leave any residue.You just add the recommeded100 mls and follow the instructions.I prefer the liquid rather than the tablets and will buy again.Recommend 100%.

Did the trick for both mine and my grandad’s coffee machines. I followed the instructions on the bottle and it was really easy. Definitely better value than the tablets they tell you to buy in the coffee machine instructions and does exactly the same thing. The bottle will last about 5 uses which is fine as you don’t have to descale your coffee machine very often.

So I bought this to Descale my dolce gusto lumio pod machine, As the orange light was flashing after a few months of use which is a built-in feature that will automatically happen after the machine has made so many coffees, Not because it detects limescale, Before purchase I put in questions if anyone has used it in the Dolce gusto pods machines and how they did it, Dolce gusto make their own descaling liquid But it’s a lot more expensive and wasn’t available, So I went with this one after seeing good reviews, You can get the orange light to stop flashing by going through the descaling program on Your machine, there is a short two minute video on YouTube to show you how to do it, I went through the program on my machine using only water as my descaler had not arrived yet and it successfully turned the orange light back to green, As I said this is an automatic feature and not true indication that your machine needs descaling, As this bottle has five applications 100ml a time, I re descaled my Coffee machine by running through their descaling program and I added 100mls plus a few cups of water to my kettle and boiled it up, When I discarded the water from the kettle the limescale was still clearly there, I put another 100mls in the kettle plus few cups of water (if u over fill kettle it bubbles over and leaks when boiled) I left the mixture in the kettle overnight but kept looking to see if it was working and each time I did the Huge lumps around sides of kettle were Getting less and less and in the morning my kettle look brand-new! There was no nasty smells so product is really natural which I like, but it does need to sit overnight as it states on the back of the instructions to work and it did perfectly so running it through Couple of minutes in your coffee pod machine is not going to do the trick! Unless of course your coffee machine can keep the mixture inside overnight which mine can’t. so the product Is great And works exactly how it says it does By soaking overnight, People that think it’s worked on there dolce gusto machines Because the orange light is no longer flashing Are mistaken Because as I stated I got rid of the orange light by going through the descaling program with plain water! I’m going to have to buy the Dolce gusto descaling liquid as it’s strong enough to descale in minutes by running through your machine and Doesn’t need to sit overnight

This was brilliant for cleaning our Delonghi. So much so that I'm going to keep buying it instead of the own brand. However you may not notice I have it as I've decanted the open bottle into the old Delonghi one. The reason is that there is no safety cap. As a parent of toddlers a safety cap is essential. That's why only 4 stars. If you don't have kids then consider this a 5 star review.I like that there's some detergent in it too to assist cleaning on top of the acid content.This is used in a machine that is used daily in a hard water area and did a fantastic job. Also used the USED water in the bathroom on the shower head - magic. Poured a little into the plugged in sinks to descale the plug holes and again, all great.Really - it's awesome. Just sort out the cap!!!!
