Gymboss miniMAX Interval Timer and Stopwatch - BLUE/BLUE METALLIC GLOSS

Really easy to use/programme. Fits neatly in pocket. Can save presets and easily recall and run. Vibrate only function means you can stick it in your pocket, or clip it to you, and not disturb others with beeps. User interface is very primitive - monochrome LED controlled by push buttons, it's pretty straightforward to set up and save desired programmes. Not very sophisticated or high tech but it functions well and does what it needs to do. With some familiarisation you can quickly set up more complex interval routines with multiple layers and rounds. Will easily cope with most peoples basic demand for a simple and effective interval timer

Don't be put off by the terrible set up instructions. Go online and find them. It is actually simple. This is a great piece of kit. I use it everyday for my run. No more counting or trying to read a watch - really easy to change as well (once you've got the hang of it). It is so lightweight, I don't know it's there.

This is a great little interval timer / stopwatch for those times (i.e. all of them) when you don't want to haul your huge smartphone on a run or around the gym. The instructions are a bit confusing but there are much clearer ones on the GymBoss website and on YouTube - and it's pretty straightforward anyway. It's not waterproof so no good for, say, triathlon, but it will deal with everyday splashes and rain just fine.

Due to its versatility it is the perfect timer for any activity. It allows you to set times for 1, 2 or 3+ intervals and then repeat them. for example, you can set a 2-interval sequence of say 2min. for the first interval and 30 sec. for the second. You can then select a number of times to repeat this sequence. This makes it ideal for exercise routines as you can set the time for the exercise (2 min) and a rest period (60 sec) between exercises. The sequence can be stored in memory and recalled when required. It also provides other modes that can be used, stop watch, clock and alarm. It is a very flexible timer that can be used for multiple activities.

Settings needs to be simplified but does the job

I'm a personal trainer and I really couldn't recommend Gymboss enough. I use my timer everyday. The different settings are great for circuit base training, resting intervals in between sets, Interval training and boxing/padwork.I had a problem with my timer and a nice guy named Christopher delt with my problem and he sorted out my issue immediately :)Customer service is on point!

not resistant to water or sweat. it gets in the display and makes it unreadable

My God, what a good piece of kit this is, we all like to excel in our chosen sport, amateur or professional. This is what you need, no more clock watching, program your intervals no problem. My only gripe is, the instructions, you need eyesight like superman to read them! Just go online download the pdf and your good to go.

Le Gymboss miniMAX est un appareil qui m'a simplifié la vie pour programmer mon entrainement journalier.Au lieu d'avoir constamment besoin du smartphone, lourd et encombrant, pour gérer mes temps de pause, mon Gymboss s'en occupe à merveille. Il est possible de programmer plusieurs intervalles différents, ce qui est pratique si les temps de pause et d'activité sont différents (pour le HIIT par exemple).Un petit clip permet de fixer l'appareil sur soi et donc de libérer les mains tout en ayant la conscience tranquille (ça reste plus sûr que de laisser le portable à côté à la salle de sport).Il est à noter que la pile AAA n'est pas incluse, donc prévoyez-la.Une mention très favorable pour le vendeur qui a été très réactif pour remplacer mon premier appareil, qui a souffert lors de son voyage par la Poste (écran fissuré, noirci).Bref, un achat que je ne regrette pas !

Muy fácil de usar, reducido tamaño que se esconde perfectamente debajo de la camiseta enganchado en el pantalón, volumen de sonido bueno, y la vibración genial, para ir escuchando música.Quiero valorar muy positivamente la atención del personal, que fue muy rápido y eficaz en una consulta que le hice, 10/10.Muy recomendado.

This little timer is terrific! No hassle, just set it for the timing you prefer, clip it on, and go. One press of a button and it resets and start the count again.I can use it for Tabata exercises, or to remind me to get up off my ...... every thirty minutes and MOVE (I spend a lot of time working at the computer). Comes with an instruction sheet, fairly easy to understand.Actually, you can use it to time anything that you want to do on a regular interval, without having to reprogram a timer repeatedly. Right now, I'm wearing it to remind me to put an ice pack on my jaw (30 min on, 30 min off) after oral surgery. Makes it so simple, without the hassle of repeatedly forgetting, then having the pain remind me to get out the ice pack!I've used it previously for medications that needed to be timed throughout the day. Anything like that.Very handy gadget, lots of uses, great buy.
