I have an iphone 8+ and I put both the magnetic circles inside my phone case. I did not stick them to the phone, but they stay in place inside the case. I place the phone in its case on the car mount and it stays put through all my travels. I've been impressed with the sturdiness of the mount. I live in the midwest and I was worried when the temperatures dropped really low, the mount would lose its grip on my dashboard - but it hasn't yet.I have a nissan pathfinder, and I wish I could have mounted it lower so I could use the camera for video - but that's more an issue with the dashspace I'm given in the car. When we go on trips, my husband likes to drive, so I place one of the magnetic circles in his case (iphone 8) and the mount holds his phone just fine. He loves it. I would highly recommend this product

Would stay stuck on my dash at a vertical angle.
The magnet on this seems to be very strong. It had no problem holding up my Samsung Note 5 at a vertical angle. However the 1 star is removed because this thing will not stick to my dash. The sticky pad included with it came off within 24 hours. I also tried super glue and gorilla glue, and neither of them could get it to stick to my dash vertically and hold my giant phone. So now it is on top of my dash. Not really where I wanted my phone to be, but it'll work until I can get some JB Weld and put it on permanently.

Excellent solution for everyone who are on their phone while driving cars. With this you don't have to look down potentially causing accidents or troubles for people driving behind you. It sticks perfectly on your dashboard or wherever you plan to place it and the blue metal piece can be either stuck to your phone/phone cover/placed between cover and phone. its also super small so doesnt make it stick out inside your car. I liked this particular deal because it came with a gold colored car charger with cables to charge either androids or iphones. pretty smart idea that was. packaging was good and i have no complaints so far. Very pleased with the purchase.

Very nice kit. Included cleaning towelettes, two metal disks (one smaller, one bigger) so I could use this for my wife's phone as well as mine. A charger (did not use) and dual-use charging cable (iPhone and micro-usb)If you don't want to risk mounting the metal disks on your phone case, there are two thoughtful little transparent stickers you can stick on your case first. EDIT: Ignore people who say the magnet isn't strong enough. The metal disk needs to go on your CASE, not on your phone IN your case.The magnetic base has a 3M sticky disk, which made me feel comfortable mounting it on my car's console.Bought a second kit for our other car. Recommended.

A great car mount
A great car mount! fast shipping and fantastic quality. It's very convenient and i have used it for a couple of weeks and i have to say i won't regret buying it!!!Easy to mount and adjust. Simply put, it's an incredible amount at this price point.I recommend to all of you!!

Needs a much stronger magnet
Decent product but the magnet is not strong enough especially when using a case. Had to return it as my phone keep falling off.
