can you use alcohol dye in this resin? with only two drops of dye in a squeez of resin and it will not harden.

Whenever you add things to UV resin (dyes, powders, glitter), you have to cure it in layers rather than all-at-once. The UV light has to be able to penetrate through the resin for it to cure. Think of it like window curtains, blocking the light.

What kind of UV light is better?

Any UV light/lamp that is minimum 45 watts is fine honestly. If your resin is having trouble curing you’re probably adding too much pigment or liquid to it it

Is it hard enough after curing?

The resin cures very clear and hard.
