This was very easy to set up with the app and have had no problems. The light is bright and the color intensity is very high. It does what it says.

In my opinion, these are some of the best smart bulbs on the market—if not the best. I use them with my Apple-powered smart home, and they work flawlessly every time. I still remember when I first bought one a few years ago and encountered a minor bug. I reported it, and to my surprise, the team took my feedback seriously and had a fix implemented in the very next software update. That level of responsiveness really impressed me.Since then, I've tried other brands (that I’ll leave unnamed) with different wireless technologies like Bluetooth and Thread, but Meross’ Wi-Fi implementation consistently outperforms them all. It's rock-solid and incredibly reliable, making other technologies feel sluggish in comparison.On top of that, their customer support is exceptional—always prompt, friendly, and helpful. I’ve accumulated quite a few Meross products over the years, including smart power strips, light strips, and smart plugs, and I’ve been thoroughly satisfied with all of them. I have a lot of Philips Hue lights in my home but they're pricey, so gave this a try for the price, and because I also have Meross outdoor outlet and garage door products as well. All I had to do was put this in a light socket, powered on. It blinks several times. I pop open the Meross app, go through the menu to add a light bulb, and it was configured within 20 seconds. Because Meross is already linked to my Amazon Alexa account, I got a notice that it was set up to work with it. A little effort also added it to my Google Home setup (yes, I use everything here).Now controlling it through the app is outstanding as far as color choice and brightness. Alexa is mostly positive. Purple is actually purple, unlike the magenta-tint of most Hue E26 bulbs. This bulb can do orange, but that's not the color you get when you ask Alexa to go orange. It's kind of a sickly green. Not sure if that's the fault of Meross or Alexa.Will probably buy more. Would definitely buy BR30 bulbs if they are made.

I own 18 different Meross devices from bulbs, in wall switches, garage door opener, and outlet plugs. I use the Meross app to control them. I find them very stable and easy to setup. Yes in 3 years of owning them they have come offline maybe 3x. But overall for smart technology, these are a breeze. Maybe in another 10 years, we will have even more stability in smart devices. But I have 4 Bluetooth enabled lights from a different brand, and I much prefer the WiFi enabled capability of Meross. I will always look for Meross products when looking for more Smart technology because it’s easy to stay in the same product app. I have attempted using Apple Home for some smart devices but I find it such a hassle when there are updates. Maybe I’m missing something there.

I got this because I wanted a light that has smart features and connects to the Home app so I can turn the light on by asking Siri.This light did work as expected for about a month and a half. I loved it when it was working because it was very bright, esp for a smart bulb and was easy to get set up. Then it stop connecting to the Home app and the Meross app.I’ve tried trouble shooting and reconnecting it, which initially did work. However, I eventually had to do this every time I wanted to use the light, which defeats the purpose of having a smart light if I have to do more to get it to turn on.Now whenever I turn it on it flashes different colors (as if it’s reset to reconnect) but doesn’t connect, then remains a color I don’t want it to be.I don’t recommend this light. By the time it stops functioning it’s too late to return and I’m now left with an expensive, not so smart, lightbulb.

I bought dozens of this and replaced all lightings in my home. This is value for money. I use it with Google assistant, and it works well. I do see sometimes they don't connect to wifi if the modem turned off and then turned on. In such case, I need to turn off the light and leave it for 10 seconds and turn back on. since I do this rarely and this light supports wonderful set of colors, I'm leaving 5 rating. You wouldn't regret buying these lights. on a side note, when I bought many of these lights 2 of them did not work at all, but these are not costly for a smart bulb with the good brightness and colors, so I didn't bother.

I really like this light bulb! It can be very bright and very dim. I got it for my lamp that is plugged into an outlet where I don't have enough space to fit a smart outlet plug due to another plug using the other outlet. So with this bulb I'm able to still leave my lamp plugged in as normal and just change out the bulb to make it smart. It's LED and we don't use this lamp all the time so it will last a very long time until I have to replace it again. The installation was super simple. I screwed in the bulb and turned on the lamp. The bulb rotated through different colors which meant it was trying to connect to wifi. I got into the app and clicked on the light bulb I wanted to setup and everything went smoothly after that. I use it with my google home setup and it works really well! There are 42 different colors you can change between and it's dimmable as well which is nice. My daughter loves being able to change the colors just by telling google. The same functionality would work if you're using Alexa as well. This was a great purchase and the product works very well! I highly recommend and would buy again. I've been very pleased with the meross products I have and am slowly converting everything in my home to being smart. This is a great easy addition!

Work great & easy to set up with Matter, but 3 of 6 bulbs have died within two years.
