Long legs
Great quality for camping and hiking. Thin and lightweight stretches while climbing. Fit is super long in legs. Pretty much used as shorts but more like capris for men🤪.

Attn: BIG OUTDOORSMEN! These pants are for you.
The bad first... The belt that comes with the pants is absolute crap. However, I didn't buy them for that. I have plenty of belts. Also, waist size seemed slightly big but not too far off. They are actually very comfortable and the inseam was perfect. Now the good. I'm a fat guy. 6'0" 380lbs. I was an avid outdoorsman (even being big) but suffered 2 heart attacks and a cardiac arrest which ended all of that. At least for a couple years but I have the need to get back out there. I figured I'd start with hiking. The problem is almost no one makes convertible hiking pants in my size (46 x 30)Then my wife found these on Amazon. They fit great, are very comfortable, and are the lightest pair of pants I've ever owned. Now I will admit most of my hiking in the past was done in either jeans or cold weather pants designed for hunting, but compared to them, these trail pants feel like I'm wearing nothing at all.In conclusion, the best thing about these Arctic Cliff convertible trail pants is the actually make them to fit big guys. I love the fit, the style, and I plan on buying several more pair. Us big guys can't use the excuse of "they don't make hiking pants in my size" because now they do. It's time to get outside and act like horse poop... And hit the trail.

Excellent lightweight work pants
I purchase these pants probably 2 years ago and for a guy my height and my size they are wonderful in the summer lightweight quick drying and have more of an elastic material throughout the entire pair of pants I just wish they were able to keep them in stock for the size that I need like I said had them for 2 years no rips no tears still fit and feel the same day as when I bought them

Nice pants, just not what I needed
Bought these camps for warm-weather camping with some creek-walking and kayaking. The quality seemed pretty good, lots of secure pockets, the zippers for the legs worked well, and the velcro cinch on the ankles was nice - could see that being useful for walking through tall grass and such. I returned them, but not because they were bad they just weren't what I needed - here's why:Thicker and stiffer than expected - mostly heavy nylon. I could see these being useful for cooler weather or rain/wet weather hiking. They did not have much "flow", if you will, for walking or lounging around the camp - not comfortable in that respect at all. They were quite tough and seemed resistant to things like rocks, thorns, etc. but for the state-park, manicured hiking I'm doing they were just a bit too much.Run quite small - this is usually appreciated since I, too, run quite small. However the small fit pretty well around the waist (the partially elastic waistband had just enough give while keeping them snug, good design) but the thighs and the length were a bit too small. I would say the length inseam as described is not very accurate, seeming to run maybe a half inch or more shorter. I saw the benefit of this as a wet-weather pair of pants, but not for the uses I was planning them for. Finally, they were quite noisy - could definitely hear the crackle and swoop as I walked, more so than other nylon blends. Again, would not have bugged me for a wet or a more-intensive hike (or a motorcycle ride, which I think these would work very well on) but not great for a leisure trip.I got them on special for less than 20$, and I'd say that was good value. Returned, but only because they did not fit my needs not because they were bad pants - so keep that in mind as you plan your summer hikes!

Poor fit, inaccurate inseam description
I purchased these pants to wear on campouts with my kids scout trips. I have not had the opportunity wear them in the field yet, but I did try them on and wear them around the house to get an idea of fit and utility. The fit is all wrong. I'm currently 5'10" 235lbs down from ~250lbs over the last 6 months or so. While I've been "trying" to lose weight, the last 10lbs was a bit of a surprise. I usually buy 42" - 44" waist and 30" - 32" inseam. Having struggled to keep my pants up and losing several due to chewing up the cuff by walking on them, I decided I'd go with the 28" inseam XL pants.I haven't actually measured the inseam, but it wouldn't surprise me if the pants were actually 38". They are SOOO long. There is a Velcro style strap on the cuff so I can tighten it up around by boots, but they can't easily be cut to length. The actual cut of the pant does not conform to the human body at all. These seem to be cut as an outer layer or over shell rather than pants. While the waist seems to fit fine the butt/hips are excessively baggy and bunch up when walking. These very literally feel like they were cut as snow pants and sold as pants.---Update---I had to knock my review down from 3 stars to 1. This product is just all miss. I can see why larger men might appreciate the spacious fit, but the provided measurements are just meaningless. No one is going to call me skinny... Here's the rub. The pant feels like it's cut to fit over something, but the waist is trimmed down to fit, but I'm drowning in the hips and thigh. The alleged 30" inseam puts the removable portion down near the lower middle shin. I took these over to a tailor and they're trimming inches off the pant. I'm extremely fortunate that my tailor is also my mother and she's used to me buying off the clearance rack and asking her to make it fit. Unfortunately in an effort to stop relying on Mom for such things, I went out and ordered something that was supposed to fit.... and no. Nope, Not even close. It could be that the seller is just trying to blow out inventory as most of the reviews are on the positive side. All in all, these pants are going to serve as a reminder to not buy this brand/seller.

Comfortable, but very long.
Nice pant, comfortable and lightweight. They are very long (ordered 36 tall) I am 6'2" and they go very far down my foot.
