Keeps the smoke where it needs to be!
Just purchased a Treagor grill to be used predominately for smoking meats. While the grill does a good job, there are gabs in many areas around the lid. This allowed for a notable amount of smoke seeping out around the rim of the lid.Purchased the smoker gasket. It was super easy to install. Placed around the edge of the grill lid and as advertised, it completes but down the leaking fo smoke, directing it to the stack, as intended. Really did improve the outcome of the smoke and produced some delicious smoked brisket, pulled pork and chicken. Very inexpensive solution!

Seals up the smoker great.
Seriously works.My Pit Boss has smoke billowing out of the grease exit at start up because of how well this works.I used a little bit of simple green on a microfiber cloth and got grease and dirt off of it to make sure it adheres.This should come with smokers.

It works
Not one to normally write reviews.Great product that solves the air leaks on my weber kettle grill.Everyone complaining about removing the adhesive backing has never had to find the end of a roll of packing tape. It's not that difficult. However, you have to be careful since if you try to separate incorrectly, the felt will come apart.Thoroughly cleaned the surface it was going to be installed on and proceeded to attach it, removing 2 to 3 inches of backing at a time and adhering it since I was installing it on a curved surface. After making it all the way around, I ran my finger all the way around, ensuring it was pressed down the whole way around. Taking a star off because the felt started to pull apart while running my finger across it although I figure it will be fine once some smoke works its way into the felt.Smoked some ribs right after and fire management was soooo much easier! Barely a wisp or two of smoke escaped from the lids edge.More than enough left after installing on a 22 inch weber kettle.

Seal that smoker! This stuff works great and holds up well. We use our pellet grill/smoker 4-5 times per week.

Works as it should
So far it's been on my Pitboss Lexington smoker for a month or so and seen quite a few all day sessions... It was easy to work with, sticks well and really seals the door nicely allowing that smoky goodness to stay where it's needed. The gasket is just the right thickness and does not impede the door in anyway and it's stood up to the heat even when I crank the smoker to 400 for grilling on it. Overall, great product would buy again!

Simply works
I put this on the door of my vertical smoker because of i was seeing smoke coming from between the door and frame.This fixed that issue. Worked great

I didn't know it was going to work this well.
There were mixed opinions on whether these were useful on a pellet grill. What convinced me was when after a few long smokes I saw about a two inch band of built up smoke residue stain on the top/back of the grill right behind the top of the lid. I figured it has to be losing a lot of heat and smoke out around the lid. Was I ever right. Cleaned the edge of the lid really well and finished with an alcohol scrub. It took all of 10 minutes to install the gasket being careful. I've cooked 3 times since adding the gasket and am amazed at the difference.Those of you that have a pellet smoker or grill and monitor the temperature carefully know that the temperature can "swing" above and below the set temperature. Before the gasket, particularly on cold days, the temperature could swing 10-15 degrees in either direction. Since adding the gasket, those swings have almost disappeared. Usually 5 degrees or less in either direction. Big cuts of meat cook faster too. Same pellets, same temperatures, same amount of meat and the only change was adding the gasket. I had to be losing a ton of heat and smoke around that lid.Great product, easy installation, no more smoke stains, great price. It don't get no better than that.

Too thin for my use.
The product is too thin for my Akorn Kamado. It was easy to apply and now that I want to replace, it sticks very well. Probably would work well for other kamados.
