Fits my 15 year old GE front loader perfectly.
This door seal fit my 15 year old GE front load washer perfectly. This the 2nd time I’ve replaced the seal in that time and it’s exactly the same as the original part. Follow online installation videos and you shouldn’t have any issues. In regards to some of the negative reviews:1. This replacement seal is indeed made in China. The original seal as well as the entire washer was originally made in China. People calling this seal cheap Chinese crap really crack me up. Go buy the replacement at a department store or appliance parts supply house and that replacement seal is going to probably be the exact same one manufactured in China in the same factory.2. Reviews saying that the material was wrinkled or thin: My seal arrived wrinkled due to shipping. Let it warm up in the sun and it will return to shape quickly. This replacement seal is the exact same thickness as the original seal. It feels thinner because it’s new and more supple. In a few years it will stiffen up and feel thicker (just like my last replacement eight years ago when compared to the factory seal).3. Comments about white stuff on the seal. Many items like this seal have a fine powdery white substance applied during manufacturing to keep the material from sticking to itself. Take a look at brand new bicycle tire inner tubes.Nothing wrong with this washer door seal. I’m guessing that negative reviews are mostly people buying the wrong seal or possibly improper installation.

Better than the GE OEM that came with the washer
I was nervous buying an offbrand replacement gasket/boot that was half the cost of a genuine OEM. Not gonna lie, though: I think this replacement gasket/boot is better than the OEM that came with my washer (GE WCVH6800J1). The original gasket would trap water in the fold, which grew mold and had the characteristic smell. It's been 4 weeks since installing the new gasket, and no issues so far. Depending on the load of laundry, there is little to no retained water.Installation was a beast, but that's going to be the case no matter who you buy your gasket from. If you're new to appliance repair, be sure to watch the YouTube videos for your model, take your time, and have a cold beer waiting for you in the fridge.

Fits like a glove
Doesn't come with instructions for install, just look it up on YouTube. The product worked great, after a year it had help up splendidly.

No leaks
When I ordered this I was a little worried because of the cheaper cost. I can say it is a good product and worth the lower cost. It fit perfect. When I received it I did take it out of the box and let it sit for a day to warm up and get its shape back. I watched a you tube video on replacing this item and had no problems with taking out the old one and replacing with the new one. We use our washer at least 4-5 times a week and and after 6 weeks no leaks. If for some odd reason I needed to replace this gasket again I would order the same one from this company.

Perfect fit!
This worked perfectly and has no leaks! The only downside of replacing this gasket is the entire front of the washer needs to come apart in order to get to the rear bracket. Also make sure you are lining up the gasket on the drum because it may not actually be seated, try pulling on it to verify

Good part, don't shortcut the install.
Proper fit, material does not feel cheap, does not include either inner our outer retention rings which I would recommend replacing (especially the outer). I tried to shortcut the install by not fully removing the face of the washer, but instead attempted to place and tighten the retention rings from underneath and by pulling the gasket to the side... SURPRISE, I did not seat and tighten the inner fitting well enough and had a, luckily minor, leak until going back and doing it properly.
